Well my process went like this.

I clicked on the "posts number" button on the outside of the thread and saw a list of everyone who posted in this thread so far. There was a list of 11 people. I tried to compare that list to the list of people who are supposed to be posting here.

I saw that the annoucement of killing people was posted at 4:09. Kiarlea's last post was done at 4:08, and she has not posted on this thread. So I gave her my Fos to see if she would post and have anything to say.

Suhnaye then claimed that I voted for Kiarlea for the same reason she did, and since I obviously did not vote for her "randomly" I thought that made Suhnaye a bit suspicious, as if she were trying to defend Kiarlea a bit much. Such defense over someone who she supposedly knows nothing about save that she voted for her "randomly" made me highly suspcious of Suhnaye's motives and so I decide to vote for her lynching instead.

See in my mind, what better way to remove supsicion from someone on your team then to be the first person to post "randomly" so as to ensure that nobody would be foolish enough to just jump on a bandwagon.

Nah, not tryin' to be scummy - simply stating. A pre-claim lynch is bad. But I meant more in a "4 people are on soandso, 3 on soandso, 5 to lynch, and 3 people won't vote, and it's stagnant" type of necessary vote.

Mm, Suhnaye. I'm tending to agree with Daganev, you jumped fairly quick to defend Kiarlea - on that same note, Daganev, you're fishing rather hard. You're both making me twitchy to be around you.

But Suhnaye, you're coming across as slightly scummy.

Fishing hard on Suhnaye or fishing hard by looking at time stamps?

I mean now that its out in the open I'm sure people will be cautious about time stamps and not give away any information that could have been used. So I'm curious, in a world where people are not thinking about the timestamps, do you think its fishing to hard to make guesses based on them?

You change your tune quickly after it is brought into the light. You were initially not going to vote unless needed but definately were against no lynch. Why all the voting and unvoting now?

Firstly, I hated everything about TIMMIE! I was there in day 2 all ready to kill a Cultist or a rival mafia or something and to use Revan to clear up the suspisions about me: have everyone mark me as an ultimate goody-goody.

I smile, watch the votes finish and then:

In any case, my gut just did flip flops. It's telling me that Taint= Cult and Guilty= Mafia even with what we were just told. In other words, I have nothing to go by.

So, I'll just have to go semi Randomvote. vote: YoLF so he can start chitter chattering.

Because I'm an inconsistent bastard? I quickly unvoted, too - I tend to not vote without sufficient proof. I kind of did what I normally do and didn't read a lot of posts on the subject, and just went by Daganev's. Then I kind of went and read then and realized how bad an idea it is to rely on Daganev's summary of events. Thus the quick unvote. I was going to just edit it, but I wouldn't be so mean.

First day lynches are normally random, repeat that with me, first day lynches are normally random. Sometimes people even roll dice to see who they lynch. That happened to me in chat once, ya I think it's stupid, but in the grand sceme of things all we have to go on is bits and pieces of information. Vote counts are a big piece of that. You know, you can always go back and look at the timestamps yourself.

For me, I'm not worried about lynching the "wrong" person on the first day based on inactivity, because if they are innocent, and are acting inactive then they arn't going to be much help in getting the game moving if we keep waiting for them to vote. And since Kiarlea was last active on the forums 4 hours ago and STILL hasn't posted, I'm wondering if I should change my vote back to her.

How many "moderators" do we have? Is quiby a player or a moderator?

And Rhayni is Ibby I take it? As apposed to Iridiel who is the person that replaced Requium?

Quidgyboo is co-modding. I am Ibby. Iridiel replaced requiem. And I don't send out a prod on day one unless someone hasn't posted for 36 hours. I think that covers it. As for a vote count, one of us will get to it ... sometime.

Dang it you guys post fast. The last 6 posts came in while I was still typing.

In any case, Dag's voting method scares me a little, but not in a 'scummy' way. Just because I'm worried, I'll throw a FoS: Daganev just for the sake of it. To note, I felt the same thing about Revan last game and Bau the game before.

He makes the best argument we have so far, though, and better than my random reason. I'll side with him for now. Unvote: YoLF Vote: Suhnaye Besides, Ye has been talking which was the point of my vote.

As for my tryin to protect kiarlea... No... I thought Daganev was voting for her bandwagon style and wanted to see if he was or wasn't, sorry that that post came off so inflamatory, I'd just got done being pissed at someone elsewhere, and wasn't in the best mindset at the time.

All that said, and still no word from Kiarlea, my vote still stands, I wanna hear somethin from her. YoLF... That strategy sounds rather foolish, but its your neck...

I'm also FoSing Sylphas for the same reason I'm currently voting for Kiarlea, they're both no shows at the moment... Wanna hear somethin from em.
