If it's timed well with swarm, true.
At the same time, treelife could do the same, without the damage, but it's safer since you don't lose your balance for a time.
Speaking from a Druids view here, that is. I don't know what Xenthos would use swoop for, except maybe trying to give un-levitation using enemies a concussion.

You can't give concussion with swoop. Just broken legs.

Wait, I thought if you'd shove down someone of a tree, there's a low chance if it giving a concussion?

Funny you should say that.
I could have sworn that someone once said that Warriors should only take Stag because Moon was worthless for them.

And three envoys reports later, everything is different

I can feel the pain of the Crow users, Stag pretty much blowed until it started to get some lovings from the admins. I know for a fact that the Serenguards are getting more and more Stag users now, especially with the changes to Medicine bags and facepaints, and Totems. Just got to keep bugging your envoys I guess.

Though I do have to ask, has stag caught up to moon in useability for warriors now? It's pretty darned hard to beat Drawdown I think, and that's not including the other moon skills.
Munsia2005-10-31 19:17:30
Druids honestly shouldnt have a drawdown/nightkiss equilvalent. But they should have a little more then what Crowform and Stagform give

Shouldn't like....all skillsets be balanced out? I don't see anything that Balances Crow out to Stag, or to Night.
But I can have your Eyeballs, Ashy loveses eyeballs! Nyhahahaa...Eyeballs! Mineeee!
Munsia2005-10-31 20:01:37
Crow shouldnt be like night. And stag shouldnt be like Moon.
Druids just dont need to be THAT tanky.

If one is really good at defense, the other should be really good at offense.

But Nightkiss and Drawdown are both
Ashteru2005-10-31 20:06:42
I wasn't talking about that they should be -like- Moon and Night, but they should be on par with them.
Munsia2005-10-31 20:11:51
Crowform is about as usefull as Stagform.. You guys get WINGS! and we get..free parade

Munsia2005-10-31 20:14:45
I'm afraid to use gore in group battles for impale and instant deaths considering Impale ends up hitting EVERYONE in the room somehow

Seriously, from personal experience in having both Stag and Moon, I find that both Stag and Moon are very on par at the moment. Stag had a lot of useless abilities that were thankfully fixed or upgraded in the last Envoy reports. Although I do find Drawdown better than Stag due to its weapon aura and damage reduction shield, the majority of Stag's abilities greatly surpasses that of Moon. Facepaints are especially nice, and the new Stagtotem is just awesome for team fighting or against guardians.
This is Stagform when I first had it over several months ago.
Then-
+1 Dex
Gore: Impale at 1/2
Parade cost reduced from 1 to 0
Stagstomp cost reduce from 5 to 3
+1 Regeneration
Now-
+ Celerity
+ Gore: Impale at 1/2, instantkill at 1/4
+ Stagstomp cost reduced from 4 power to 2
This is not counting in all the other Stag changes obviously, but Stag is damn nice nowaday. Only thing I wished was that Stagform would provide some physical blunt and cutting protection, but since Druids can get charms, I think it's already great as it is.

1: whats Celerity?
2: Ringwalk is slightly increased
3: Impale is either miswoven or dangerous as heck to use since it has gored multiple people including friends
Genos2005-10-31 22:29:53
Celerity is the ability that lets you move one more room before getting the "not so hasty" message.
Munsia2005-10-31 22:45:10
Medicinebag needs to be more warrior friendly
