I'm sure how much you like me has a lot to do with the topic. smile.gif

I was thinking about this a bit...having slept on it some. I read in some thread, damned if I can remember which, (ooer it was this one!) something about Glomdoring having the worst luck with leaders. I don't think it's that we have bad luck with leaders. I think there is only so much being battered about that anyone can take. Glomdoring leaders just take more blows than anywhere. sad.gif

Yea! So step off and leave us alone tongue.gif You have no reason to be against us! We aren't tainted, we are just a pretty little forest with shadow bound fae. We love nature, cities are you know. Ehh. Use em when ya have to. Come be our friend Serenwilde. Come...Cooooome....

But really, step off sleep.gif

I think I remember someone telling an alt that it takes 6 months before they'll even let you in the commune if you want to join, or something like that.

For most people they need 3 sponsors and then get in if no one objects, but if you're a former enemy you also have to go through a 24 day (IC) referendum. If you're really slow getting sponsors or have horrible luck finding people who can welcome, it could take 6 months I guess.
Unknown2005-10-31 07:42:30
Yeh, it's pretty easy to get in, the harder part is getting into the guilds, well the Moondancers, when i joined had a 6-something month waiting period before you could join.
Shiri2005-10-31 07:45:34
I remember asking Shorlen about getting rid of the waiting periods or reducing it to 1 month or something a while back, and I'm 80% sure he did it! biggrin.gif
Murphy2005-10-31 10:44:17
yeh, being the leader of Glomdoring i would consider as punishment or a position fit for someone who enjoys pain
Iridiel2005-10-31 10:51:53
I really wasn't 6 months until I was welcomed. Now that I think of it, I was the sister of Merloch, in Lisaera Order and already knew half the comune smile.gif And people were really lovely to come and sponsor me smile.gif))

But I understand Jasper needs to rethink things over a lot, after such an event.

Great RP smile.gif

Elryn had no right to do that so soon, and Jasper knew it tongue.gif Jasper's a Moondancer enemy anyway still.

huh.gif

I was trying WELCOMEHOME, WELCOME, looking for emotes... and I didn't think of the welcome being a commune priv. doh.gif It should ask for confirmation!

Thankfully Jasper had the presence of mind to quit immediately himself, though I still sent him some frantic messages telling him to do so. I just about had a heart attack.

I always wondered why it doesn't, actually. Clan welcoming does, I think inguilding does...

I'll join and be the leader then ninja.gif you think Glomdoring is messed up now? Just wait till I'm in charge. We will have daily whippings (for the masochists) and other fun stuff... and Murphy can um... get a G-string
