Hall of justice

Back to Common Grounds.

The ribbons of energy twist into a wide band that drains away Viravain's
essence, turning Her already-pallid skin even whiter. Her form finally
fluctuates and fades away.

Seconds later the "Halls of justice open"

Glomdoring is more bloodthirsty then seren angry.gif

I don't think she is gone.

Maybe it was just a symbolic reprimand. I hope it wasn't anything too bad though... she is one of the biggest assets of Lusternia!

And I feel really bad. sad.gif

On the positive side of things, maybe this is the start of Viravain changing slightly, and Glomdoring will revert to Gloriana without her? whistling.gif

If I see anyone post such blatant censor.gif when they don't know what they're talking about, I'm going to be seriously annoyed. Why would she come back untainted? That's totally nonsensical.
Vix2005-11-01 00:54:20
Ooh, maybe this is the Halloween event? Doesn't seem very Halloweeny.
Anumi2005-11-01 00:54:27
Perhaps some indication of what is actually going on should be forthcoming, then?

I thought your in-game outburst of foolishness was just roleplaying, but now I see you are indeed an idiot. I don't care if you all speculate as to what the reason was all you like, but don't make claims about things you don't understand, and don't demand to know everything like a petulant child.
Unknown2005-11-01 00:57:28
She has met justice is all we know IC... unsure.gif
Munsia2005-11-01 00:59:34
Edit : Not the smartest thing I've ever seen Munsia do, and borderline personal attack. Complaints via pm, please - Shikari.

It sounds like this is to cover something we aren't supposed to know, like Viravain being unavoidably kept from Lusternia for a while, and I can understand why we shouldn't be told everything, and why there might be strong feelings involved.

But, in the absence of that knowledge there is a certain amount of curiousity that such an event is going to create, and I don't think its necessary to start insulting people for being curious.
Vesar2005-11-01 01:04:44
Someone fill those who weren't there in?

She's highly defensive of the situation angry.gif
Anisu2005-11-01 01:05:38
Not much to fill you in on, that thingy happened with Viravain, and now there are halls of justice for each city/commune with something to write the laws on.

QUOTE
The Celest Chamber of Justice.
Molded into gentle ripples to grant some measure of traction, smooth and
reflective volcanic glass covers the entirety of the floor within this chamber.
Faint light sparkles across the obsidian surface, mirrored from bits and pieces
of varying glittering stones embedded in the dark rock of the ceiling. The
elegant form of an archangel accented with gold and silver spreads its wings
over the entrance, glimmering diamonds set into its eyes. Rising up from the
floor, a pillar of Celest's written law is here.
Anumi2005-11-01 01:06:55
Er. Right. So this is OOC, right? And calling someone a petulant, idiot child based on my single post is called for? And I didn't claim any knowledge of anything.

I was simply a bit frustrated, and still am. Viravain is important, in-game, to many of us. After an event in which this character was apparently destroyed, it would still seem that we're all in the dark, and if anyone's found any sort of hint as to what's going on, it's not clear.

I'm doing all I can IC but from my perspective it looks like it just POOF happened, and no word as to what's going on, what's happened to Viravain, etc, even in places where it would seem like we'd have some inkling.

I apologize if I come across as a petulant child, and have angered Lisaera-the-player enough that they feel the need to insult me-the-player on an OOC, human basis, but it's frustrating to get a message that something major has happened to your matron and then just silence and a few rooms full of pillars for half an hour afterward while we're running around.

Being curious is all well and good, go do that, curiosity, as far as I am aware, does not involve either:

A) Asserting things that are not only totally untrue and based on nothing but your own strange imaginings, but also entirely nonsensical and stupid.

or

B) Demanding to be told by us what is going on, as you never are, ever, in any event or IC happening.

Speculating is harmless, those two are aggravating.
