Might means NOTHING and nor does ranks. You could be a true blue influencer and be 50% more then someone and 100 ranks!

Who actually takes these polls? Only the people who use the forums... Unless there's some IG way of polling?
Unknown2005-11-03 10:25:15
Well most of the people who play the game, will be on the forums at one point or another.

Break out the torture devices: Kaervas and Aesyra are in for some pain, the dirty novice stealers.
I stole scholars from Kaileigh once a few weeks ago, hardly a novice. Narsrim, get a clue before you start flinging false accusations.
Asarnil2005-11-03 12:39:47
To get back more on topic, I wouldn't mind Admin Moderation of them TOO much, but only if it wasn't "don't do this AGAIN for a month" but instead "tone down your WHATEVER for a while as its starting to get out of hand" and only after that if they don't tone it down hit them with not doing it again before peacing.

Note how he told me not to accuse him of acts I only heard second hand. I mean, the dude is just radiating hypocrisy.

Close enough. You're a bad man. Everyone learned the tactic from you.
Can you even gust someone with grace of innocence?

nope can't gust graced people
Kaervas did it to me once, but then I don't count as a novice either
Infact I was happy he didn't kill me for them.

Yes of course they did. And either way if someone did decide to copy me gusting someone once it hardly makes me a griefer like people are claiming.

Right. Just like how if I killed someone will more might and levels than me during village influencing I would be a griefer because I had a better system than them.

Rauros2005-11-03 22:16:10
Am I the only one of the opinion that we have forum griefers as well? I believe they are termed "trolls." Either way, something should be done about them too (I'm not naming any names). They are making the message boards as much fun as a cheese grater.
Malicia2005-11-05 01:34:13
Long thread. I'll keep this short, because I didn't have the patience to read the entire thing. -The whole idea of 'griefing' is a grossly overused term. Yes, there are players that do things and at times, they're relentless and cause the other side a lot of suffering. I do not believe that the admin should step in to peace or give organizations the power to 'peace' an individual simply for being good at what they do. Novice killers are dealt with. Bug abusers are dealt with. An efficient raider shouldn't be peaced by the divine for kicking ass. It doesn't matter what side it is. There are effective fighters/raiders on all sides. I could see things worked around it to ease the pain. Supernals dying a lot? Demon Lords? They were strengthened once or twice. Not sure. Peacing people? Ew.
Unknown2005-11-05 01:38:45
There's a difference between "kicking ass" and "driving people away from the game because you have no concept of where to draw the line and have to have the admins draw it for you."
Munsia2005-11-05 01:43:18
The goal WAS to drive people out of Glomdoring y'know...

So driving away the fighters doesn't matter then? What would peacing do? Who wants to play a game where you can't do anything? Surely there's another way. And while you all fear the Achaean pk rules, they're effective. You can still raid like mad. You just can't attack anyone until you're attacked which is what most raiders do in Lusternia anyhow.
Most of our skills are for pvp. I have two skills dedicated towards fighting mobs. Jab and swing. If we were meant to sit around and do nothing, why design these intricate combat skillsets that we shouldn't use?
One last point- Everyone has been on the losing team. If you want to play Lusternia, you'll deal or you'll quit. I doubt that the game will suffer. The same people that were here from the start are -still- here.
Unknown2005-11-05 01:49:14
You seem to have missed by point. You can still kick ass, raid, fight, and roleplay.
The idea would be to stop anyone from going so overboard on those middle two that people were actually so disheartened that they left the game. I don't get what's so hard to grasp.. we're not asking you to stop entirely, just not go overboard, which 99% of people don't.

If 99% of Lusternia's playerbase refrain from excessive violence, what exactly is the problem?
