That would work. I then have to wonder if it might not be better to just have one free version of this though. And you wouldn't be able to do it even with an artifact if you had parents or children.

Granted, I skimmed the thread, but I don't like the idea. I can't see any real way around the fact that if I spend time interacting with someone for years (in game), and then suddenly they were apparently not alive for half of that time, how do I justify that?
"Ooh he magicked himself to be born later" just doesn't do it for me. Something like this effects every single person you've ever met (or it should, rather, if we all want to roleplay) and is just not viable in my mind.

I agree, was about to post a similar thing myself.
On the plus side, it would let me finally be born on the 25 of Roarkian, year 70 like I was supposed to.
