Just because I was curious, I tried testing how increasing dexterity by one would change the dodge rate on an active stance.

18 Dexterity
Stance: Arms
Parry: None
Relevant Skills: Trans Combat, Trans Resilience. (Omnitrans)
Attacker: Terenas, Aslaran with combatstyle lightning, using rapiers.
Number of dodges: 32
Number of hits: 25
Total swings: 57
Dodge rate: 56.14%

19 Dexterity
Stance: Arms
Parry: None
Relevant Skills: Trans Combat, Trans Resilience. (Omnitrans)
Attacker: Terenas, Aslaran with combatstyle lightning, using rapiers.
Number of dodges: 23
Number of hits: 28
Total swings: 51
Dodge rate: 45.10%

Something a bit odd must have happened there. Anyone else want to do a more conclusive test? I can only change Dex by 1.

If you're going to conduct a test, you need to use the same number of swings each time. I suggest doing it with 100 swings, and a larger gap in dexterity, to really see the difference.

Aye, I know. I'd like a changeling to test it, if they can.

Note that there were more hits with 19 dex anyway, so even if the next 6 were all dodges, the dodge rate would still have decreased.

I think what we would need first is an idea of what the spell is actually created to do and in what fashion, before we can test if it is working correctly. So many variables that would need to be chased down, that any tests without a baseline of what is suppose to occur will just end up being open to each testers perception and interpretation of the results.

Below is information given on Evade Block and Weaving from Achaea. As you can see from the information, you are given a very good idea of how each skill augments the general skill of avoidance.

Syntax: EVB
UNBLOCK
At the cost of a regular mana and willpower drain, this will increase your effective avoidance skill.

Syntax: WEAVING ON/OFF
At the cost of a heavy mana drain, you may boost your effective avoidance massively. This is cumulative with whatever level you are at in your avoidance skill.

Terenas and I did conduct a quick test with the following results below:
Relevant information
10 Dexterity, Transcendent Combat, Stances Legs:

Without Blur
108 swings at my left leg
28 dodges
25.9% miss rate

With Blur
172 swings at my left leg
47 dodges
27.3% miss rate

The results I obtained are inconclusive. I do not believe an accurate test can be conducted until information on how dexterity and the level of combat training effects the avoidance rate. Also information on how Blur is suppose to increase the avoidance rate is needed too.
