Oh, I suppose you're right. I kept thinking along the lines of 3 of us left, if one dies tonigth that leaves two, which can lynch easily.

But meh, I'm not a serial killer, once ashteru is dead and this is done, you shall see I don't lie.

On another note, if the one remaining were you, shorlen, and I were a serial killer, I could not kill you at night, neither could you lynch me during the day, leaving things at a stalemate?

Victory is achieved for the tainted when there are an equal number of tainted and pure, and I believe for the serial killer when there are one or two survivors, one being the serial killer himself. Else stalemates are possible, and they should not be.

In most cases, I believe, the doctor can't save him or herself, as well ... so if only the doctor would be left against a serial killer, the SK would win by being able to kill the doc.

The princess did state she could protect herself, unless that was a lie *shrug* We're seriously getting off on a tangent at this point - though revan did state that he would be gone for a bit, he should be back soon.

Acting as one, the few who remain converge on their chosen target. The golden robes of Grand Cipher Dith glitter in the light called forth from the globe in Princess Marilynth's hand. Finally, High Priestess Farella points to the figure in the cloak of crow feathers, making the decision unanimous.

"You have become Tainted, Brennan!" Farella cries.

"Does he realize, do you think?" the princess says sorrowfully. "Do any of them realize what they have become?"

With an impatient hiss, Dith strides forward. "No need for questions. We will end this!" With a roar, she breathes a blast of fire at Brennan, who cries out as he is engulfed. A few singed crow feathers break free and settle to the ground unnoticed.

The Grand Cipher nods to the other two women before turning and striding off.

Princess Marilynth sighs. "How could this all have happened? Why, under the blessed Light?"

The High Priestess eyes the princess for a long moment, her eyes cold. "Foolishness, to ask such a question. None of you heeded the warning of our Great Spirits, and look what that has brought us." She turns on her heel and walks away swiftly.

Alone, the princess lifts her chin. "Father, I now know what must be done."

I'm honestly surprised you didn't go for the lynch on me second to last day, etanru, especially with me having declared myself the Vigilante. Lynch on me would have mean't they would win unless their protection landed true (and you could have gotten away with killing cwin at night if you were unsure about whether revan or shorlen was the shielded one, he was being too sketchy to be protected and hadn't claimed any role.) Meh, thats just how I saw things, as egocentric a vew as it was, I saw things second to last day as "as long as I don't get lynched today, we win."
