Hey, I am new. So I'll just watch a bit this first time, maybe making some minor comments, not much more though, hehe.

Welcome Ashteru. If you've got any questions, fire away! happy.gif

In other news, we must hear from people!

You're better off questioning and saying what is on your mind, rather than lurking. I've just recently made the error of letting a newbie get away with silly mistakes because they were a newbie (they turned out to be scum, too, the bastard). So I won't personally be too impressed if you don't get involved to some meaningful degree.

But, I'm just one person and not a mod, so what do you care if I'm not impressed tongue.gif.
Unknown2005-11-15 00:45:53
Everyone wants to impress Quidgy!
Ashteru2005-11-15 00:47:55
Pfffh, fine. I am a bit suspicious about Etanru since he just votes randomly at someone, without even asking first. That should be the first thing to do before voting.

A vote made thusly, to be honest, isn't usually wrought of the taint. To hold such a vote later when reasons and evidence is presented - that is a sign of the taint within. Haphazard votes get converstation started, and conversation brings forth knowledge a good deal faster than silence.

Shamarah was a fool to lynch without allowing Avaer to claim, especially after the words I spoke before - he brought that death upon himself. To add an ammendum to my previous advice - if someone votes the final vote to lynch another without allowing that person to claim, but that person turns out to be tainted, then there is a chance the impatient one was not tainted, but rather, certain of themselves.

I have no opinions on others at the moment - I will have to review what was said and see what there is to say.

Ugh. So we're basically back to Day One...

Random votes. >_>

VOTE SYLVERFYRE

Just to hear something/get things rolling. I'm still a bit suspicious of Navaryn..

And I still consider you suspicious kiss.gif

FOS Etanru

But I will follow my gut feeling again and VOTE JASPER until more evidence are brought up.

There's nothing wrong with straight lynching if you have a scrier who's reliable. I've proven myself reliable, as you must know. When I get the next tainted, It would bode well to kill him straight off without questions so we can get things moving. I haven't got any tainted, and umm... the person I scried is dead =/

Also, I've heard rumors that I may be tainted myself: Tell me, what right minded tainted would be stupid enough to kill off his own? In any case, I'll be here, adding my voice as needed, and watching you all
Unknown2005-11-15 03:42:28
How could you have heard rumours if you can't talk outside the game?

No. No no no no no. More talking is good for the town. By saying you want us to go straight to a lynch, even if you do look like a reliable scrier, you make youself look very very anti-town.

Well if we had two mafia families you would be smart in trying to kill off other tainted, wouldn't you?

To be honest, rhayni mentioned this game would be simpler with less twists. I seriously doubt she'd put 2 mafia families in this game. Besides, we do not have enough players for that to be possible. So, I suppose we can safely assume that no tainted would doom other tainted like Revan did.

I don't think she would either, but I've been wrong before. My point was, trust should not be implicit whether Revan helped us kill a Tainty or not.
Revan2005-11-15 05:24:44
Ok, Quidy.. this game is meant for newbies. Ibby specifically stated it's to be the simple rules. Save your suspicions for TW3 tongue.gif
Unknown2005-11-15 05:42:40
But I am modding TW3, I already know who is who there! Let me have my fun being paranoid :pout:!
Unknown2005-11-15 05:46:50
Shorlen pointed it out yesterday with fairly sound logic that even if Revan was right about Avaer being tainted, it does - A false scrier who turns us against our own could be a deadly weapon for the tainted, possibly worth sacrificing one of their own for.

However, I am more inclined to believe Revan is innocent at the moment since he's not asking us to lynch anyone today, despite making the somewhat unreasonable demand of asking us to lynch immediately on his word alone.
Unknown2005-11-15 09:30:27
Wow, it got quiet after a fast series of posts... *pout*

Navaryn and Etanru are still fussing about each other, my FOS on them from yesterday still stands.

What makes you suspicious about jasper, though, Navaryn?
Revan2005-11-15 14:39:33
Ok, first of all, the tainted don't NEED a scrier. They know who they are... so they just kill off everyone else. YOU guys need me, and it's rather foolish to question your scrier, unless you want long and hard guesswork ahead of you.

In this game perhaps it is as simple as the Tainted not needing a scrier, but in others it can come in handy for them. Even so, what do you have against us questioning you? I don't say I plan on trying to lynch you or even vote for you, but you're acting as though you have earnt our trust after just one good lynch. Well, you haven't earnt mine. You've proved enough for me to not want you lynched, but that does not mean I won't look and relook over things you say and do.

That said, I'd like to hear from those who are hanging back in the wings. It is a common scum tactic to sit back and avoid the conversation, if at all possible, until their lack of attention is noticed.
Unknown2005-11-15 22:26:07
Regarding a Tainted scryer: In a previous game, Tsuki was a Rolescryer and Tainted. That meant she could learn people's names and use that to vouch for herself as trustworthy. No one really knew enough, or in my case was willing to, out her and say 'wait, no, a Rolescryer is generally a Tainted role'.
Revan2005-11-15 23:49:52
Meh, well in any case, I won't be able to be of much use until night comes again. Hopefully I'll find another scummy
