Do they ever turn out like you expect?

I tend to expect the events to turn out with some twist from the original assumptions.

The return of the Glomdoring mostly was as I expected, though there were twists to it- the end result was still the tainted forest remaining.

If you were a true follower of Night, you would know when to be compassionate to people so as to get your goals accomplished.

Woo, I wasn't the only one who saw the Lady of the Summer Song becoming the new Glomdoring Patron.

Glomdoring is... not quite what I had hoped. But I'm sure you all know that.

I think most people did.

A true follower of Night would NEVER be compassionate. I am sorry, your wrong. They would be cold and distant - wearing a mask, not compassionate simply because they need something.

Odd, the forums at the time seemed to say otherwise.

Especially when Magnagora was trying to kill people at the rituals.

Heey, I think it's good if She'll see normally. It'd sure make things a lot easier. I end up not speaking sometimes and looking like a silent idiot because I'm afraid to infer that Glomdoring might not be pure and Serenwilde-like lovely. Viravain is *intimidating*. Sometimes I think She can just reach into the computer, read my mind and suck at my soul. But I still love her

Edit: Also, I'm all down with Mother Night and stuff, and I'm nice to people. Nice to newbies, I'm compassionate and even (Shh, I was never here. You never heard this) snuggly with my more personal friends in Glomdoring. I'd hug Viravain if I wasn't utterly terrified that she would do something horrible and turn me into a spider or something. Or even worse.... a Celestian!

Odd... With a few minor changes what you just wrote would support my opinion...

YOu can be cold and distant and still be compasionate. Just ask my family.

But that is the beauty of it all - you should speak how Glomdoring is pure and like Serenwilde, because in Glomdoring's history Viravain -DID- remake it. Alas, Viravain is the only thing I think I miss about Glomdoring - She was always so... spiffy, with a poor choice of word.

I can't keep up with all the opinions! In-game I'm all YES PURE GLOMDORING. COME BACK CENTAURS, LOVE UUUUS. But out-of-game. I'm like. "Damn, that tree is _ugly_" And yea, sorry for the thread ninja'ing. At least you have a popular thread, Mr. Ex-Shrub?

I don't really think it'd be good if she saw normally, though. Xen's basically built on his not being able to see it. He's not as patriotic about screaming it doesn't exist as he was, but he still corrects folk from time to time, especially novices.

If she returns able to see it, and overturns the whole base that Brother Crow and His blind eye are also unable to acknowledge it, saying that now he can... basically, Xen's sight was clouded by the Spirits of the Glomdoring when his form was twisted from Elfen to ShadowLord (there was no inbetween, he was immediately a ShadowLord when he switched and has never been a normal Faeling)... if that is overturned, in one moment the entire forest will do a flip. What he sees as being clean and pure will suddenly be rotting and oozing. He will see it in himself. He will see it *everywhere* in his home.

This would be a pretty big shock. And it's why I'm really hoping it doesn't come to this.

See, I've always been of the opinion that big rotting corpses ARE beutifull. Like planting a garden of weeds and yanking out any sunflowers that pop up.

Yeah, it's all about perception. Different people find different things as beautiful- one of the great things about the Glomdoring was that so many could find it so for so many different reasons.

You never know, maybe Viravain will see normal again, be all "Ewwies, THAT'S what I've been lounging in?! And with her uber post-Kethuru intelligence and power, remake Gloriana (Part Deux) But keep it called Glomdoring and Crow (Because Ackleberry, Glomdoring, and Serenwilde all have ten letters, and Gloriana just wouldn't fit with 9) because while it is remade, it's still all Dark and stuff. Then again, that's about as likely as Serenwilde and Magnagora teaming up to sacrifice the centaurs, chop down the Moonhart, and use all that neat stuff to untaint Nil (Don't ask me how it would work, it just would!)
