So I understand that mages need intelligence
Fighters need strength
What is/are the most important attribute(s) for a wiccan/guardian?
Con?
Charisma?
Intelligence?
Do they use weapons?
Do they wear armor?
Im confoosed ... . wacko.gif

It's not that simple.
Ekard2005-11-14 19:19:33
Yea, its not simple.
They main attack is based on intelligence, but not many kill in PvP with it.

I think speed is quite important or tankiness.
Narsrim -> speed
Amaru ->tankiness

Narsrim keels by locking you and then fast attacks with sensitivity, he have nice ammount od int as he is Mugwump.

Amaru just will tank all your damage dont to him and use judge, soulles, inquisition or absolve to kill you.

So you need to think a lot on race for wiccan/guardian.

Personally i think that Lucidian right now is best, if you need to use cosmicfire or whatever wiccans have(nature curse?).

Thanks I'll think hard
and of course roleplay is a factor . . .

Actually, as a Druid or Mage, you don't need that much intelligence....I do fine as an Igasho Druid, very fine.

for someone who isn't and IRE combat master, I would be going for a race with 14 int and 14 con approx....there are a few so have a look around

Dracnari have 15 con/14 int and lucidian have 14 con/14 int, but dracnari also have a sip penalty (SUICIDE SUICIDE SUICIDE GOD I HATE SIP PENALTIES) and lucidian have a nasty weakness to blunt weapons (though sweet magic/cutting resist).

IMHO, though con and int are both very important factors in selecting a race for Guardian/Wiccan, even more important is speed. Hexers (usually Wiccans, though Nihilists can also select it) are usually mugwumps, as they can lock you up very quickly and then take you out with damage alone, while their fae continue to incapacitate you. In the same way, Tarot users are generally aslaran, since they have average con, 14 int and balance fast enough to deal tarot afflictions very quickly. As long as your con/int are just good enough to carry you through a fight, you can maximise upon speed with little worries.

Of course, you could just ignore all advice and do something crazy like make a Loboshigaru Celestine.

Like that'd ever work. rolleyes.gif

I would go for speed and high level. High level then takes care of the con problem. And seriously.. you also have to take into account things like Tosha, war, knowledge and life blessing. smile.gif

Knowledge is better than War for magic users, last I tested, by far, if you include all the effects of higher int.
Ashteru2005-12-04 12:26:17
I'd say go a tanky race at the start, and change to a better suited one at level 70 or so.
