I was just wondering, because I need a break.. badly.. but I don't have the willpower to stay offline and I'm so afraid I'll go dormant for a week, then come back and Elcyrion will have opened his order and there will be 5 billion people in it already. To be honest, right now the only reason I log on at all is to see if he is around and then I usually get distracted by someone acting up in the guild/city... get all agitated.. and end up putting my foot in my mouth or jumping down someone's throat. Snubbing the entire organization looks very attractive right now.
I'm still deciding whether to give the go ahead, because I don't want to miss something big and never be able to make up for it.

AFAIK.

Awwh. I know how you feel. What worked for me was when I would get on, and set my watch, and after so much time, I'd here the little 'beep beep' and I'd get off. It takes a ton of willpower though, and sometimes I'd keep telling myself "only 10 more minutes!" What I found helped with the willpower thing was deleting all references, like if you have the forums and the website on your favorites, or if you have a shortcut to whatever client you use (Unless you use nexus or something). The little things really help to strengthen your resolve. But if you are getting upset at Celest..well..Glomdoring is always open -come hither-

wha?
oh, in response to Astraea's post.. yes. It probably would help if Nexus wasn't the first thing that opens when I get on netscape. But I would also have to.. not log on to aim, msn, or yahoo so people wouldn't do the whole 'What's going on in game?' or 'Why aren't you on lust?' Kind of glad I don't get flooded with messages anymore though... or log on and almost instantly get tells asking me to do such and such and go speak to this novice or favor/disfavor so and so and sort out the arguement between these two random people and blah blah blah...
I've just been on edge lately and I need to take a step back, before I start looking up people's addresses and paying some people a visit..

Yeah they did it for Kharvik.
Hajamin2005-11-12 09:20:46
I stand corrected, Kharvik was banned at his request. If it's something you want to do, email support@lusternia.com and be VERY sure that is what you want.

You make it sound so permanent.. I just wanted maybe a week. I'm thinking thanksgiving so I won't be sitting there pondering Lusternia while I'm talking to my grandmother.
Marcalo2005-11-13 00:24:19
just do this joli, change your password to somthing you are 100% sure you won't remeber, hit enter twice really quickly then just click off the screen, then when you are ready to come back email support ask them to fix your password and you will come back, its a little crude but its always worked for me in the past when i needed a break.
Unknown2005-11-13 00:25:14
You can always do what I did a long time ago...change you password to something you can't remember, and then when you want to come back ask them to reset it. They actually recommend that under suicide if you've bought credits and don't trust yourself.
No need to IP ban or shrub unless you truly believe yourself to be an addict and want to quit for a long time.
