Having never been to the Glom, and never seeing Viravain (that I recall...) I keep hearing voices on the wind that say the glomdoring is where all of the black and chinese playerbase is... Is this true or is someone just trying to be mean/fan flames of hatred for Glom?



It would make me wonder why would such a thing cause hatred. Why would the writer of that think that would be a mean thing to say about Glom.
Why would people wonder that in the first place, Why does it matter and so on and so on.

I think that is just what people are feeling. Anyway... I've always thought sexual orientation to be a weird thing to ask people about or wonder about.

Who you sleep with or who you are attracted to seems a personal thing. Asking someone if they are gay or not... seems akin to asking things such as ;

"How long ago was it that you had sex?" or "Who was the first person you had sex with?" "Do you like to do it doggy style?" Or "Are you a virgin?." "How old were you when you first had sex?"

It has always seemed wrong or rude to me to ask those sort of questions and it always astounds me how open people are with their curiosity of who is gay and who is not.

On another note though, in Magnagora, and especially the ur'guard there is no blatant homosexual things being said or done or whatever.

coming from the ur'guard, where you marry girls and talk all rough (I love the ur'guard) you don't see/hear any of it, at least i never did.

Going into Glomdoring, I get all sorts of innuendo thrown at me, and more obvious as well, like the time Sobran basically said if I was gay he would attach himself to me etc etc i'm not going into details, It is quite a big difference. I personally don't have a problem as such with the issue, But i've had to take a much firmer stance on anyone publically snuggling or affectioning me in game than i did in Magnagora.

I think I only took weapons to someone's head in Magnagora once or twice for such public accosting, but i think i've hit more glommies with my weapons than I have enemies keeping their filthy mits off me (I hit the girls too, just so i'm not discriminating)

Hey I feel for you really I do. I'm not into the snuggly thing either and honestly I don't see it in Celest really at all myself. I think its just a forest thing. I asked Narsrim the other day what people from Serenwilde do and he said they have Orgies by the lake or something. So you know thats cool and all. I'm just not into mud sex. I actually find it disgusting.

Now if it was between orgy and snuggling I think I would choose snuggling. There isn't anyone in Celest that I would like to snuggle me anyways.
