So everyday I wake up with a migraine... I play lusternia with a migraine. I go to bed with a migraine. Seldom am I without a bloody migraine sad.gif

Anyone know anything to stop these besides 'not playing lusternia'?

Okay, call me a freak, but I always get headaches when I'm in the sunlight for too long...if that might be your problem, try shutting the blinds or something ninja.gif

Lucky sod. Well, can't help then!

Could be your eyes, have you tried seeing an optometrist to see if you need glasses? Or even seeing your GP to see what they say?
Iridiel2005-11-14 14:39:35
Failing eyesight it's the first thing you need to check when you have migraines after spending time in front of a screen.

Also, some migraines come from stress, you might want to check a doctor to see if you have any bad high-back/neck muscular problem. Happened to me a lot, and the way we sit in front of computers helps them.

I had this exact same problem...just got glasses too!

I usually raid with a migrain.. although I feel like falling over from it. It makes me sick and gives me hot flashes. Usually in the back of my neck or over my eyebrow

two things

drink water, and do some excercise. You don't have to do much as it cuts into your lusti time but like, do something to get the blood pumping (Get a boyfriend if you do'nt already have one, and shag. I find with my GF its thebest excercise you can do)

so yeh, shag and drink water that should help! also get your eyes tested
Iridiel2005-11-14 15:39:47
Murphy's way of life.

-Can of harden up if everything else fails.

Before i got my glass's i couldn't go outside at all with out the sun almost burning my eyes and me needing some sunglass's. It also could be your posture, that has ALOT to do with your headaches and migrains. I personally have at least 1 headache a day and 2 migrains a week. It also could be that your computer monitor is to bright, so you might need to either sit a little farther away from it, or try to spend less time on it. My doctor told me that definitly spending less time on the computer will help, and it has.
Munsia2005-11-14 22:44:48
I use to wear glasses but I dont anymore after the doctor said I didnt need em anymore but it was odd cause he said my sis needed em and she never really did.
But ya.. the nerve in my neck sometimes gets pinched due to my spine being all screwy. Tried to go to sleep earlier and the headache almost made me sick and then acid reflex had to add onto it sad.gif See. Lusternia is an unhealthy addiction

Only an addiction if it's too excessive, if you're on Lusternia in excess of 7+ hours, then yeah, that's bad. I try not to go more than 3 hours at a single time before taking a short break.
Shiri2005-11-16 06:35:24
It's probably also related to your sleep patterns, given what you told me the other day, and also given the fact that I now have the first bad headache I've had in ages after sleeping like 16-18 hours yesterday for want of anything better to do. sleep.gif

I wanna be a wombat.
Eats Roots and Leaves.
Seriously, drink water, excercise.
Sleep regularly, and if not regularly, for the same amount of time

I am an affiliate for this website that sells herbal and homeopathic remedies. They have something for migraines you may want to try. Here's what they say causes migraines:

Here are a few of the most common causes:

* Stress and tension are high up on the list of culprits. Stress causes the muscles in the neck and head to tense up, thereby constricting blood flow to the brain
* Migraine may be preceded by a spasm of the arteries leading to the brain, once again diminishing blood flow to the brain
* Hormonal fluctuations may cause headache or migraine. This may also be linked to the contraceptive pill
* Buildup of toxins and poor liver functioning can also be responsible, reducing the body's ability to eliminate toxins from the diet or the environment
* Certain foods may trigger migraine in susceptible people. The most common are chocolate, cheese, nuts, alcohol and MSG
* Low blood sugar levels and dehydration can also bring on headache, especially if you have skipped a meal.

If you want more info or want to try their product, you can go to this URL:

They have good stuff there. Hope you don't mind the commercial link, but I believe in natural remedies which is why I like to recommend them. :-)

I wish I had time to sleep 18h a day anymore! smile.gif
But yeah, regular habits, glasses, controlling your posture in front of the computer and seeing the sun now and then (even if that means leaving lusternia and going outside) it's good for them smile.gif
