I need to rant about stupid people I have met this past weekend


1. You cant worship Satan and not believe in God... just doesnt work like that

2. Yes my name is Alvin and yes that damn chipmunk joke got old when I turned 6

3. Just because I was born and live in Oklahoma does not mean I am Native American

4. Saying "You speak well for a black dude" or "You dont sound black" is not giving me a compliment

5. The term African-American does not give you grounds to ask me what part of africa I am from

6. Do not attempt to explain to me how I cant be jewish because I am black

7. Saying "You have a masculine walk" and "You dont sound gay" are not compliments. Am I supposed to prance or something? Am I supposed to talk like a have a freaking lisp?

Because it would get rather messy... stupidity is so subjective, and intelligent people may actually be accused of stupidity because of one minor slip-up. I say that instead of shooting them, we should stick them all onto a remote island in the middle of the ocean and equip them with a few select supplies. The intelligent ones will make it back, and the stupid people will get what they deserve.

Yeah..... it goes both ways though. If I am not getting "Wow you speak well for a black person! If were on the phone I'd never guess you were black!" (Although the same person that said this also ends sentences with prepositions and uses words such as warsh and so on but I didn't comment.) Then I am getting "Why do you sound so proper, or why do you sound white?"


I've just decided not to talk at all.

Ugh! I know just what you're talking about! I've had several people tell me I wasn't black enough. I'm sorry, I didn't realize I required anything more than certain genes in order to be black. I'll get right to work on that! It's funny in a depressing sort of way.
