There's tons of opportunity for interesting characters in Lusternia. Just by toying around with different combinations of city, guild, and patron can yield promising results. A cold, scholarly Lucidian with a hidden crush on Isune?

Joli did this first...kind of. The whole concept is taken, anyway. tongue.gif

A blademaster who can't stand the sight of blood and hands his opponents bundles of yarrow and chervil before battle?

I think we have some like this in the Serenguard. Why the freaking pacifists choose the warriors' guilds I WILL NEVER KNOW.

IT DOESN'T WORK, PEOPLE.

Oh, he would want to kill them, just with as little mess as possible.

How about an insane Tae'dae bent on dominating the Basin, becoming a Vernal God, and draining the power of Kethuru to become the almighty lord of creation?

Oh, wait-

Oh, that would be new.

You can always try a mad aquamancer scientist experimenting with alive tainted beings about untainting them. Of course, kidnapping people for your experiments might be difficult, and the aquamancers and other celestians might say you're not being goody good by experimenting *coughtorturecough* with the tainted.
At least you could be evil and be in the Light City smile.gif

Hands off of my roleplay. tongue.gif

Actually my roleplay was not intended to be the way it is.. it just sort of went that way. I wanted Joli to be a mix of Jessica Rabbit and Pepe l'pue (or however you spell that skunk's name) happy.gif

Jessica Rabbit is quite fun, actually. Loved that film.

If you want to be a rogue, you'll have to be a knight with the hunting/tracking skillsets. So no 'hermit mage' or 'wandering druid' characters for you. Sorry. Some character ideas that you could want:

I'm a Hermit Guardian Rogue. I still have Moon and Wicca as my primary skillsets, even though they're pretty much nerfed as a rogue, there are some usefull skills in them.

A mercenary type who's loyal only to gold

A merchant - low combat skills buy fairly high Influence and tradeskill, eventually owns a cartel (Credit-intensive, you'll have to compete with Richter or join him.)

A wandering hero who is neutral towards the Taint and helps people from both sides (Hard since you won't have any healing skills, but doable.)

A hermit who takes up a room in the mountains and threatens everyone who passes through it.

A drunken dwarf who spends a lot of time killing stuff, and a lot of time drinking.

An estranged Merian who hates New Celest but is neutral towards everyone else. (Can also be done with elfen, viscanti, Faeling...)

Rogue Mercenary really can't be done in lusternia... At least not well. Certain players would probably be able to pull it off, just because they're damn good at what they do... But starting off, its doubtfull you'd be able to.

A Merchant is probably the easiest thing to be as a Rogue. Really thats the only thing being a Rogue is good for. As a Rogue your able to pretty much peddle your wares to all the societys of the basin, making it so your a very reliable merchant for anyone who needs anything.

Wandering hero kind of fits with the Mercenary... A Rogue generally sucks at PvP. However, there are ways to gain the Healing skillset and be a wandering healer, such as Marina.

The hermit and drunken dwarf ideas could be combined... You could be a drunken dwarf hermit who wanders mount Avechna and threatens all the people that walk up and down it with a scary slurr, and nasty breath... tongue.gif
