though thats only because they don't ignore seasonal relationships to the holidays so if you came to the southern hemisphere they would be celebrating Beltain and Midsummer (if i have the dates right, i'm such a bad wiccan holiday-wise) and in the north you'd have Samhain and Yule

I'm allergic to shopping. For other people.

I love shoping... When I have some idea on what people wants/would like instead of going guessing and ending up buying something I am not entirely sure will be the right present.

I don't like Christmas either, or rather, the whole consumerism drive that devours the entire season. I like celibrating the winter solstice, visiting friends and family, getting together for good food and drink, but that is pretty much the extent of what I enjoy. Christmas Carols are A-OK, for a little while anyway. Shopping, christmas "lists", competition, financial debt, passive aggressiveness, hypersensitivity, it can all go.


BUT - to stay on topic, I do think a holiday 'event' in-game would be fun!

Lusternia should develop their own holidays and events, maybe festivals related to astrology or whatever. Like celebrating x months after the Kethuru event or something.

I'd prefer that too.

But then no one would remember when it is.

About the holiday in question. Christmas makes me depressed. I hate my family. I'm totally adopted. I have to be. Ever since Santa became Mom hides presents in her closet and mom goes out with her friends to get drunk on christmas eve there was no spirit.

About the ingame version. I have no luck at all thusly I never get anything and that depresses me too

We could have spiked eggnog in game! Or, eggnog thats gone bad, but you can't tell its gone bad because all the spices mask the fact that it's gone bad. And so you'll see on deathsense,

If I hear anyone use the term 'Estarramas' in game I will kill them on the spot.
