So it's been a long time since I last played. I always loved Lusternia's story, but some things about the game made it unplayable for me eventually. Anyone want to tell me what has and hasn't changed?

Personally my biggest problem always was the emphasis on group combat, which I feel stemmed from how easy it was to summon people to you. Demenses, wisp on ethereal (I loved being in Glomdoring the most, but could never get a fair fight in their PvP zone), worldwide summon before it got nerfed. It seemed to me that an individual could not make a difference in Lusternia because of the abundance of summoning techniques, pulling you to a group. Spammy group combat via full automated systems all around decided everything. Is the team aspect still the norm in combat? Is summoning still a really big part as well?

Also, can Daevos and that I-guy still kill me in one attack? tongue.gif My character is completely viable for me to play but I am too lazy to find the answer to these questions myself as it would probably require a few hours without the forums and I'm behind by like 150 announce posts.

Not much has changed in regards to team combat. Demesnes, summoning, and wisping is mostly the same, though they have all gone through various downgrades.

Yes, the warriors will probably still be able to kill you in one combo.

Things are starting to change though.

Have to agree with Elryn, group combat is the main emphasis here, so nothing will really ever be balanced. Sure you have one or two strong fighters who will fight solo, but they don't do it often.

Wisp remains insane. Goes through monos, and retricted to same type of forest - however, a gloom can wisp through a Hartstone's demesne, and visa-versa.

Actually I find Wisp manageable now that it has a delay. smile.gif

ahh coime back jello, you were always fun to have around

I find that the moajority of my combat lately has been me solo, or me and Lyco versus 2-4 people, and i still get a lot of 1v1 fights, its great

It may be just me, but I feel like team battles are not nearly as prominant and important as they use to be. When I was a lad we went around with teams of 6-12 people fighting eachother, and just hoping you were alive at the end of the spam after you button masshed for a good 30 seconds.

Hi Jello, yeah there is some team combat now, but mainly its little raids on Ladantine, or Nil ect. Combat has changed although I still don't agree with all the summoning junk still(None should go through Mono, not even demesne summons). Also like Murph said, its either 1 vs 1 or groups of up to 4 for the most part.

Well, I will probably give it a try again some time in the next few months smile.gif Playing aetolia right now and am a city leader there and there's about to be a war. After that I am going to reconsider between playing aetolia, lusternia, imperian, wow or cov.

And I love the huge number of emoticons on this forum :salute:
