Revolution > ps 3 > xbox 360. Personally I think Xbox was too rushed for its own good, and possibly its plan for PD:0 to be a top FPS has backfired as it was poorly executed due to their rush. There is alot you have to take into accoutn though, yes ps3 has the better chip, and is more bent on a reality but it will cost about 200 more than the base xbox 360 cost(with accessories it can hit 1k just for the good stuff). So, really it leaves you with game titles, xbox 360 and ps3 are doing the big fps(frames)/graphics race and making the same old type of games whereas the revolution is going be best in my eyes gameplay wise...anyways excuse my rambling. Ps3 > Xbox 360 as far as I am aware, but once again Revolution > Ps3

Yeah, one thing I heard about Madden 06 (a game I was REALLY looking forward to on 360) is that it's become worse gameplay wise (no challenges, no Superstar mode), but the graphics are mouth-watering.
The Revolution I heard has a remote control-type controller, which can be used sorta like an arcade gun (point the remote at a point on the screen and it shoots there, etc), which sounds kinda cool and lame at the same time. Playing with a remote control?
Problem with the PS3 is that it comes out a year later and it's estimated to cost as high as $800-900...that's harsh.
Torak2005-11-24 00:32:54
Yeah thats the huge downfall with ps3, they spent so much on their chips devolpment and mass production they have to charge insane rates. Yeah, Revolutions controller sounds wierd initially, but if you read up on it at ign.com, it really sounds innovaitive and fun! Plus, cost wise revolution will be the cheapest because it didn't focus as much on graphics

Screw them both. It's all about the Revolution.

One day the world will become wise and will give us a way to mud on our home consoles...that would be cool! Wirelessly using your DS or PSP to check the nstat, or forums...bhuahaha!
I myself, would be playing FF 900 if they made it that far..but... how do you say not to Illusion of Gaia and Secret of Mana?

Mudding with a controller? Euuuughghhh....
Stangmar2005-11-24 01:38:20
That would be awful, because you'd have to sit there and type out each word, it would take forever. Could you imagine combat?
I could imagine Daevos or Narsrim sitting on their couches playing it. They'd be saying 'Up, over, over, ahah! S! over over, L! over over..DAMN IT IM DEAD!'

not like mudding activly on a portable, but being aple to check messages or the forums or nstat would be useful... I wonder why ps2 had no mud ability...I mean I have a keyboard and everything for it, *ponder*
Asarnil2005-11-24 03:41:43
PS3 - it may cost more, but they have better Japanese game developers, better titles lined up for when they release (MGS 4 being only one of them) and have full backwards compatability (which is extremely good because we will end up seeing the old PS2 games rendered better - like the PS1 games are when played on a PS2) and will have the blu-ray for when they release games via that medium, and that allows for some extremely staggering games with its 45 gig capability.
The XBox 360 won't have full backwards compatability - some few games will be able to be played on it, but you won't be able to play all your old games on it.

And I'd be all like, south, southeast, east, HADOKEN!

Revolution looks innovative. PS3 looks sharp. 360's a piece of They just didn't let things evolve as they always have. Before, systems evolved to keep up with the games. The 360's the first one that hasn't done that; it's just a "bigger is better" approach. And even though Nintendo's system looks more innovative than any of its competition, if they waste their time on any more 2 1/2D sidescrollers, I'll be buying ten copies of it just to throw at their HQ. But that's just me.
Richter2005-11-24 03:56:04
Hey, I like my 360 so far.
Simimi2005-11-24 04:03:08

Richter2005-11-24 04:09:40
I didn't figure anyone would get that.
Asarnil2005-11-24 04:16:26
You forgot the Hard Punch biatch!
Shiri2005-11-24 04:17:17
You never want to MUD with a controller. It'd be worse than w/mouse. Ugh. >_<
Anyway, PS3 ftw.

Last list was over 200 games. Backwards compatibility really isn't an issue with xbox.

Xbox 360 will make more money. It's hit the stores before christmas, it's the first of its generation, and - quite simply - rocks. I want to see an Xbot 360 for all you CAD Comic readers out there.
Acrune2005-11-24 05:40:21
Well, technically microsoft loses money for each 360 sold. They make that back from games sold.
