EDIT: Actually, should have conceded as soon as Lava Zombie dropped. I had no way to deal with it.

I was worried about the zombie, considered playing the soul link on it as a kind of obscure arrest, but thought better of it when it started attacking you rather than me.

Meh, and in a four player game between me, Diamante, Alyssandra and Sylphas, Sylphas suddenly pulls a load of awesome creatures like air elemental and looming shade out of his ass, I forget magic carpet taps when I finish off Alyss with a holy strength'd craw wurm, and an untimely soul feast/air elemental after a sizzle and shock troops from Diamante finishes me off.

Waiting on Diamante and Sylphas to finish, I'm betting on Diamante since Sylphas is going to run out of creatures if he doesn't pull that gravedigger.

EDIT: Hah, Diamante topdecks volcanic hammer and sacs shock trooper for the win.

OMFG. Killed by a topdeck Volcanic Hammer after I annihilated his creatures and was swinging for 9 a turn. And actually, was incredibly close to hate drafting the hammer at one point in the draft. Bah. Nicely played Diamante. Very fun game, that I managed to nearly win with what feels like a lot more skill than usual. Not sure it actually was, but I liked it.

Yea, I thought I did pretty well drafting, but then I really should have naturalised the box a couple times I was waiting for Alyss' dreams, and then I should have rushed you and accepted the loss of a wurm or whatever, but I thought it would be better to keep you all at reasonably similar health so that given a chance I could smash you all in one go.

Didn't turn out like that thanks to your nice creatures. Hornclaw, air elemental, shade. Bah. Shoulda algae'd your swamp too.

Except Magic is far, far, far older than Pokemon. It was actually the first trading card game, as far as I know. It was created as a college teaching project, to help teach children how to do math... and it just sort of evolved from there.

I myself have been playing for... almost 9 years now. But its been around for longer than that.

If you can catch some people solo, sealed is fun, and shorter than a multiplayer game. Also, looking for people to play constructed with, Shiri is a wuss and won't do it.

Get on MSN, Laneth/Elysiana/Lyco/Me should be playing Invasion block in a bit. Or Mirrodin, I forget what they decided.

Pokemon is actually a really fun game, I just never actually got into it. Too hard to find opponents who weren't 5 and had a clue.

Well I just got my arse handed to me through a combo of crappy ard choices, no mana, and Dia.

A couple more turns and I could have destroyed all the arties. Oh well.

Followed by me and Sylphas also getting pounded. He had some nice affinity and sunburst, plus a neurok stealthsuit so I couldn't arrest his manta, and a sawtooth thresher. And he had green pretty much open since no one pulled any in the first two blocks, we were all busy fighting over W/B/U.

One shotted me from 20 with a Nemesis Mask and a pumped Sawtooth Thresher and his other critters.

See and this is why limited Mirrodin, is the devil. You can just draft I win combos.

I did enjoy the games though, but since everyone one else is none english and Shiri is noctunral I guess that means I only get to play at weekends.
