IM ones are better in my experience Never did find a stable game group. I'd play either a forum or IM D&D game if anyone does DM! I'll probably be away for the next week, so reserve me a spot!

I'd play. I don't have the rulebook, but I understand the basic rules and the way the game works and stuff. I can probably get the book if necessary.

well i like dming but i play like a bastardized version of dand, so if anyone would be interested let me know my aim is CREEPOFTHENIGHT or pm me on here, i have been trying to set up a aim game for a while or we can try a forum one so like i said let me know.

There's the rules for anyone's thats interested, well 3.5 anyway.

...DM'ing takes a lot of work. Far more than it's usually worth all things considered. I've done my share of DM'ing over the years for various games and while a lot of people like how I run my games, there are a fair share of those who don't. My style tends toward heavy story and puzzle elements with light action. Some people prefer more action and less story, definetely less puzzle. Back then, if I got a group together I'd make them all fill out this little five question survey to find out what kind of characters and game they wanted to play. Worked out a lot better when I knew what the heck they wanted to do.

Regardless, good luck finding a DM. The vast majority of people don't want to do it.

One suggestion however. Unless you have a supremely skilled and experienced DM, I highly recommend that Evil be a nonchoice for PC's. I won't allow players to play an Evil character anymore because it generally undermines the game. DnD is about party dynamics, working together, and overcoming your obstacles. Evil doesn't generally work well for those things. To each their own though.

I used to DM, but it was WAY too much work, and not really much fun, despite the advertising in the front of the DMG.

(Just in case anyone starts an IM one, Galatae and I are going to prepare L1 characters ahead of time...we can always do new ones if necessary, but it's just nice to have characters that you know are connected beforehand.

Hope no one minds 3.5 psionics, I wanted to play a psion, haven't had the chance in eons.)

The 2 rules were a pain in the ass though, the most notable of the problas were armour ratings going in reverse and thac theta.

I've started Dming a aim DnD 3.5 game, so if anyone wants to play, we're looking for one more person. Most races and classess will be allowed as long as you verify it with me first.
