Quickened cosmicfire with 20 int and a war blessing messes up lots of people reaaall good.

Problem is surviving the long eq time on quickening itself.

The only race that has easy access to 20 int is Imperial Merians.

Well, Narsrim's radiance scenario also happens to be possible only for Celestines.

Only celestines can be Imperial Merians and have cosmic fire, too.

So, maybe quickening can be useful. As long as you're not 50% of the people who have access to it.

You'd be better off as a Mugwump if you want damage with cosmicfire. Not only will cosmicfires be faster and only a little less powerful, but your quickening will be faster too.

It's annoying how powerful those mugwumps are for such an ugly race. But that's how it is, speed is like the most important thing most usually.

They arent that ugly, alienlike purple human things. The name implies ugly beast, but it isnt really that true, going by the illustration.

They are nasty frogmen from the swamps. Picture is a bit misleading.

I imagine they range from beastly frog-men to regular humans with unusually moist skin and floppy necks.

I've also heard something about salamander-like mugwumps, I guess that's better.

Yeah, but ash's just a freak, and his cameo is broked. Quickening is wonderful, as a mugwump i went from about 3 second cosmicfire to basically 1 second, expcept i could only put in like 4, and for the cost of it, so not worth it.

As Merian i could use 4 cosmicfires but it was looong ago.
