Annnyway, I just asked for a lot of music for Christmas. I'll be heading off to college next year (I just found out I was accepted to my college of choice today!) and I figure that more than anything, I'll need music, a safety blanket, and a laptop (which I'll be getting as a graduation gift).

I think they call it in different things in certain dialects of English but I don't remember what else it is. I don't think it's parakeet, that's something else. In French it's (I don't remember how to spell this) perrouche. That's how you say it anyway.
