Trying to decide if i should go mugwump or stay viscanti. At level 59 my current max health is 3014. As a mugwump it would be 2300. My current eq recovery time is about 6 seconds, which seems slow. My current sip time is 5 seconds, and i have a level 2 sip penalty. I also have the tainty regen thing, and don't like the idea of losing it. Input is appreciated.

Master Viscanti:
Strength : 11 Dexterity : 8 Constitution : 14
Intelligence : 15 Size : 13 Charisma : 12

ADVANTAGES:
o Can breathe poison gas upon reaching level 50.
o Regenerate health and mana while in Tainted land, level 3.
o Immune from poison gas.
o Resistance to poison damage, level 1.
o Resistance to blunt damage, level 1.
o Resistance to cutting damage, level 1.
o Special: Upon gaining the Geomancy specialization or Nihilist
specialization, a viscanti becomes a Master Viscanti with statistics
changing by -2 strength, -2 dexterity, +3 intelligence and +2
charisma. Viscanti warriors who choose the necromancy path, upon
gaining the necromancy specialization become a Brood Viscanti with
statistics changing by -3 intelligence, -1 charisma, +3 strength,
+2 dexterity, +2 constitution and +2 size.

DISADVANTAGES:
o Heal more slowly from elixirs, level 2.

Mugwump:
Strength : 12 Dexterity : 14 Constitution: 10
Intelligence: 15 Charisma : 11 Size : 12

ADVANTAGES:
o Have a racial language, mugwumpi.
o Regain equilibrium faster, level 3.
o Are resistant to asphyxiation damage, level 1.
o Can automatically swim and tread water without taking damage.
o Can DIVE into the ocean depths (RISE to come up).
o Regenerate health and mana while in marsh or swamp, level 2.

DISADVANTAGES:
o Are susceptible to fire, level 3.
o Are susceptible to electricity, level 3.

Your numbers are off. Normal equilibrium is 4 seconds.

Raising your staff against yourself, it swells, rapidly discharging a torrent of
poisonous fumes and sharp rocks towards the ether.

You bleed 36 health.

EQUILIBRIUM IS BACK!

EDIT: Bleh, you're right. it is 4 seconds, but almost 5.

Ok, i'm almost decided to go Mugwump, but 2300 health is WAAAY too low for max health.
Athalas2005-12-04 01:21:25
I'd stay viscanti until you're higher level, then switch.
Ashteru2005-12-04 01:28:09
Actually, I bashed from 50 to 76 as a Mugwump. But it got hard after that.
Ashteru2005-12-04 01:28:52
And no, Level 2 equi penalty is nearly 5 seconds. tongue.gif
It's without lag exactly 4 seconds.
Stangmar2005-12-04 01:39:13
I think I'll just bash to level 70 as a Viscanti then go Mugwump. biggrin.gif

I like racial regen, so I say stay Viscanti, unless you find out something about Mugwump that makes up for having to buy more healing stuff.
Acrune2005-12-04 18:45:36
If I can do it as merian, you could do it as a mugwump, which I hear are better then merians.

I play race *mostly* for IC purposes. I only chose Merian so I could be with Dax. She didn't want a Toad. Or a Dwarf (which would make an awesome Druid)
Vix2005-12-06 23:56:15
Probably good to stay Viscanti for now. Who knows what the next racial changes will bring?
Ashteru2005-12-06 23:57:31
Next....racial changes? blink.gif
Vix2005-12-07 00:01:45
Who knows? It may happen, it may not. wink.gif
Stangmar2005-12-07 00:13:36
Yeah, but if they bring out a lot of racial changes, they WILL give us free reincarnations again, just like the last time, right? right?
