Tracking a strange sigil upon his neck, Etanru prays to Lord Shikari for the gift of a living tattoo.

What the opponent would see:
A dark tattoo quickly vanishes from Etanru's neck and a wound mysteriously appears upon Gregori's body.

Syntax: BESEECH VIRAVAIN FOR FAITHFULDARKNESS

The Mistress of the Web's blessing will cast a dark aura about Her chosen upon their beseechment, causing their bodies to be outlined in an aura of horrifying darkness. This darkness will grant them a bonus to their mana as well as cast an automatic fear upon order enemies.

What you would see:
Gwynevere kneels before the might of her Mistress and whispers a short prayer. An outline of shadows quickly forms about her, causing her to vanish from sight.

What the opponent would see:
Ibaesha screams wildly as she stares upon Gwynevere, the darkness causing her mind to reel in fear.

Isune's Order Power:
Beauty
Syntax: BESEECH ISUNE FOR BEAUTY

The gift of beauty shall be the blessing that Lady Isune grants Her faithful, granting them the power to cause a room to filled with the cries of the avian world and the sound of a woman's voice singing upon the winds. Those present within the area that are order enemies shall become haunted by the power of the Aesthate, causing them random afflictions for the time they stand in the local area. (Local area meaning typical room length in which a shrine's power can extend to)

What you would see:
Simimi sings a hymn to the Lady of Beauty, calling upon Her divine will to bless the earth and air. The cries of birds, both large and small, raise their voices in praise of their Lady, as Her voice is heard upon the wind.

What the opponent would see:
Daevos blinks in confusion, as the will of Lady Isune casts his mind into confusion.

Elcyrion's Order Power:
Peace
Syntax: BESEECH ELCYRION FOR PEACE

By invoking the power of the Erudite Lord, His faithful can call upon the winds to cast an air of peace into the immediate area. Offensive actions become nulled, as His presence casts an aura of benign calm onto the winds.

What you would see:
Ialie bows her head in reverance of Lord Elcyrion, whispering a prayer beneath her breath. A sudden calm places itself upon the air, causing a faint breeze to billow gently about.

What the opponent sees:
When trying to use an offensive action:
The will of Lord Elcyrion forbides your mortal mind to do such an action.
(Typical to Sanctity when a village rebels)

Lisaera's Order Power:
Silverlight
Syntax: BESEECH LISAERA FOR SILVERLIGHT

By chanting out a prayer, the Silver Maiden's faithful can call upon Her divine power to cause a silver light to strike out at an order enemy. They will a tremendous health damage, along with a minor mana damage.

What you see:
Ibaesha raises her hands in glory of the Silver Maiden, crying out loudly her Lady's name in praise. Silver light quickly begins to pour out from her eyes, causing the air before her to shudder with the presence of divinity.

Opponent sees:
Ibaesha glares at Shayle with rightous anger. Shayle screams in pain, as a lance of silver light strikes into her body with bone crushing force.

Fain's Order Power:
RedMask
Syntax: BESEECH FAIN FOR REDMASK

Lord Fain's faithful can call upon His anger, causing a mask made of pure red rubies to appear upon their faces. While wearing this mask, His faithful will not be affected by psychic based attacks and gain a defense bonus against magical attacks.

What you will see:
Tully goes to his knees and places his forehead to the ground in worship of Lord Fain. A burst of crimson light shatters through the air about Tully, and as he rises slowly from the ground, a red mask appears upon his face.

It'd be rather nice to draw away from the combat side of them, hence why the windform and such were better since they had mutliple uses, rather then just another combat thing.

That's the point of windform, it protects the shrine without killing people (Anyone who approaches just becomes useless. Picture several tanky people being thrown away from an Elcyrion shrine by a band of windformed Order members.) Peacing the area suddenly would make it impossible to defile Elcyrion shrines, so it would be too powerful.

I find the lack of originality and creativity, including balance issues stated in your suggestions rather disquieting. Not to mention, I'm not a new age Arachnid with half a spider body, nor would any of my teaching include spiders in such a manner - stop attempting to portray me as such, it's irritating.

Just no..I don't want to see Orders as elitist groups with more combat-related abilities, especially when most people in an order (except one or two) are not even fighters at all. There is already a large gap between utility and combat skills in guild skills, these new shrine powers will only make it worse.

I just want a way to offer to a god without always having to hunt. Something to do with influencing.

Anyway, I was just guessing there. I don't know anything about Viravain's teachings and just thought it was a cool idea. Besides, she is associated with spiders by people. Glomdoring is full of spiders and she uses Mistress of the Webs as title. The only other thing I associate with Viravain is that she's fanatical about Glomdoring, so I couldn't think of anything interesting. Sorry if it annoys you, didn't mean to.

i know relatively little about your teachings, but might i try to come up with a basic plan of one?
different things that might work for a form,
-inability to see taint
-seeing all rooms as "wyrd forest"
-ability to spread the glomdoring forest (might not work since druids already can do this...)
-strengthening ability, such as that of making a forest/themselves stronger by being more attached to the wyrd
-ability to detect people that are currently in the glomdoring forest that aren't affiliated with it, from any location

one of the first two could be the negative thing, since having both wouldn't make sence.

erm... probably not a good idea, considering that someone in Glomdoring(without a demesne) could know at any given time if someone is attempting to raid (i.e. someone sprayed the ground so SCENT wouldn't work.

The power for Lacostian seems interesting, if not really useful

I think something more Viravain-ish would be giving temporary insanity (Astral style) to Order enemies alongside lengthy bouts of dementia with all kinds of demented pictures of Brother Raven, Gloriana, and whatever else Viravain really sees... but totally disorienting.
