Would be good if you could give astral creatures to someone for gold, perhaps to a person at your nexus on astral, they can be killable but they accept astral creature corpses. Maybe they are collecting to give essence to one of their divine, or they're collecting because they hate the monsters of Astral. Just sounds good is all.

1. The bugs and elephant are just some affliction. Might be hypochondria, or something else.

2. I still love this. Leveling should be damn hard later on. People in their 70-80's should be considered nearing their peaks, with those in the 90's and beyond the best of the best, those really determined to be omgWTFuber.

I'm talking about Conglutinate, which gives an obscene advantage to anyone hunting Astral. And yes, getting Aquamancy/Druidry to Mythical, a level high enough to tank Astral critters, and Gifted Planar isn't easy to reach IC without Astral. I'm not saying it's unreachable, only difficult.

Also... About RP events begun by players, the only advice I give to the gods is simple: "A hollow voice says, 'Fool!'" is better than "I don't know the word 'Xyzzy'". When someone decides to do some experimenting (Like Tully did a while ago) you should (If you're there to do it, of course) respond with something. Seeing a random puff of orange smoke is way better than nothing happening at all, because it tells players that someone is paying attention to what they're doing.

You always lose less with vitae than conglutinate, I try to avoid it. And after I vitae, I can always fly away, or you could run away, whatever...

Y'know what some people haven't realized yet.

Insanity might not be limited to the Astral Plane.

I can see it taking place under other conditions. Maybe drugs might make you insane. Or perhaps the use or overuse of certain skills--like if you conglutinate or lich too many times. Or maybe the result of Ego burnout from psychic battles.

I wonder what will come next....

I like the delusions of people in the rooms.. I was rping, that a bit last night... Tsuki.. and Nejii kept showing up.. making me paranod.. started making threats to kill everyone in the desert cause they were crowding me.

I wanted to get down, Ashs fiancee gave him hell.

Suggestions:

-You start hearing random says, one line at a time, each from different people/areas.

-You see god entrances and exits when they're not really happening (imagine Terentia and Auseklis' followers )

-Many more creatures are visible, though they're all illusions

-You start hearing voices that tell you to kill whomever is the highest
level person online at the time (kind of like the minstrels in the arena)

-You start hearing voices that tell you you're going to be killed by the weakest person online at the time

-"You have been slain by the might of Richter" message. I'm not sure anyone would believe it though *twiddle*

-Every so often, you'd get the message where you get blown in a direction, or the water moves you in a direction, but you go nowhere.

-Your health and mana on the prompt briefly switch (again, not actually affecting your real levels, but it would screw with systems)

-Zsarachnor storms in from the south. Kidding!

-% tells you "hello?", where %= random offline person

-Pink bunnies. Those are a must.

- Deeper on: Tells from people who ARE online saying 'hello' or 'Need any help?" Something casual that you'd expect players to say.

- messages about attacks happening. Afflictions, getting crusified by random people, Chasm messages, ext.

- For 10 minute intervals then directions flip around with no special messages

- Near the top of insanity: Rare chance at a Perfect vision: An illusion that's actualy a peak into an upcomming real event. Looks just like any of the other things you're getting so no way to tell the difference, but I bet the CHANCE will draw people to Astral to act as 'prophets'.

- and, if possible, FULL summon messages: You see a Wisp or Demesne summon message by some random person, you see the room change into a forested/demesned room.

- Everyone is named Bob.
