Trueheal will cure all negative ailments, even being drunk! Does it cure insanity too?

No.

The insanity's not so bad...just stupidity is REALLY annoying with all the fondling and searching going on.

Glad you like it, that's probably my favorite effect.

I tried to attack four enemy Seren in the Glomdoring before I realized they weren't really there. I kept wondering how they were so fast.
Tsuki2005-12-06 06:36:20
Yep, we've got part of Gregori's insanity quoted:
And we kept having someone else in the Seren saying over CT that they'd seen such-and-such and so-and-so and that they must be raiding! And those of us who are still sane tried to make soothing noises
QUOTE(Shiri @ Dec 5 2005, 04:33 AM)
(Serenwilde): Gregori says, "Oh my god! Tsuki! Stop chasing me through the
desert!"
(Serenwilde): You say, "It's okay, Tsu! Calm down! He won't die THERE!"
(Serenwilde): Tsuki (from the Water Elemental Plane) says, "Desert?"
(Serenwilde): You say, "Or...that."
(Serenwilde): Gregori says, "And Nejii! He is following me too!
desert!"

I must say, I was wrong. After playing around on Astral more, I really like this change. Now I feel stupid for complaining *sniffle*

I -hate- it. I kept seeing Nokraenom in Celest and Daevos on Astral.. I went to attack only to find it they were never there.

I'm going to smack you. You have spectacles of clairovoyance. You should know exactly if someone has or has not entered your area so you got no worries.

I.. forgot that.. but that's also why I thought it was strange for them to suddenly appear there. *coughs* anyway just to get away from those nasty smacks!

It seems like some of the Astral creatures are dropping gold once again, including the normal 5 that spawn on each sphere. Joy!

Weren't they before? I thought that was just how it was meant to be now...

I'm actually really happy to hear people are having fun with that effect. That mini-dementia actually took longer to code(and was a big headache) than the rest of insanity combined. It took me atleast 5 tries to get it working correctly...
It's also good to hear that some of those that complained the most have actually spent some time to see how things work, and have changed their opinions. That is the reason why we always wait before tweaking anything, much of the initial complaining is due to not knowing how a change really works. Life always seems harder, until you actually look at it.

Hearing Diamante tell us that he has seen enemies in the wilde of late, and to be careful and ever watchful, is just so amusing And Gregori's paranoia too... I really like the flavour this effect gives to the rping of the insanity. Thank you for all the effort you put into it!
Only change I would recommend is to make the 'phantoms' show up on scent/scan too

There's a good idea, and I will be adding more things to insanity(just flavour, I think it's painful enough as is) during my free time.
A few idea's I've had are things like weaponprobe showing random stats(You're so insane you think things are stronger/weaker then they really are) and mobs appearing to be stronger or weaker then they really are(Gorgulu looking like a mouse, but a weevil looking like a god) with you consider them.
In general, the simplier things seem the harder it really is to make. Skills I can do in no time... try to modify GET... arg I don't even want to think about it.

I actually freaked. I typed look and saw daevos. had a heartattack and fell out of my chair kind of stuff
IT isnt to bad. The stupidity seems toned down from the nodes game.. you took that down abit it seems? It is sorta fun. people were saying the monsters were worse. they are still doing thier normal 500-1k but at a faster rate. new messages for shielding and breaking shields I gotta fiddle with as well. They are tougher to kill but I dont see how they hurt more. Just still am getting jumped and the no gold is annoying
Shamarah2005-12-06 11:24:10
Yeah, the dementia thing was amusing. I was all, "WTF is Shayle doing in Celest? And now Xenthos?"
