You are right to a certain extent, but I think the issue here is what exactly the Ethereal plane is, and the difficulty in expressing that concept.
Both Druids and Wiccans have their power rooted in the Ethereal plane (ie, Nature), but it is different facets on which we draw. I look at it like the plane itself is nothing more than the spiritual level of the living things on prime (ignoring the Catacombs
), not a separate geographical place. The closest analogy I can think of would be the dreamworld that is common in many stories, and most helpfully lusternia - it's still a part of the physical world, just a realm in which you can see higher beings and forces. (Ok, maybe that wasn't the most helpful analogy, but meh.)The Druids draw on Nature (Ethereal) just like the Wiccans do, but where the Wiccans primarily communicate with the Lesser Spirits that empower, guide and protect living things, Druids are taught instead to communicate directly with the natural world itself. Both commune with Nature and hence the Ethereal plane, just different parts of it.
I feel you cannot talk about Lusternia's 'Nature' separate to the Ethereal plane, they are essentially the same thing. All life on Prime is a manifestation of Ethereal essence. Druids and Wiccans are equally tied to the Ethereal.
My comments on insanity: I spent half an hour on Astral harvesting. I got to highly neurotic. Now, an hour after I left, I'm still neurotic. Insanity's fun and all, but it really shouldn't be lasting this long.
