So...a few situations have come up to me ingame. These said situations affect Simimi's RP aswell as her very being, these are big, hurtful things.
Let me say this..
Someone, has lied to Someone close to Simimi, and this keeps happening. When said peron who was lied to comes to Simimi for the truth, she gives it to them. Well this becomes a circle of person A said and Simimi said.
I can't log my gametime in Lusternia...I have no way to prove I am right and this is getting kind of annoying...sure its RP and well...lieng is RP but still... it is getting now to where I am paranoid and not wanting to talk to anyone for fear its going to come back and bite me in the but 2 months later.
Any ideas?

higher a consultent in game to sort the mess out for you. That was my main task when I was a priest in Aetolia, I was always sorting out "he said, she said" problems.. was quite fun for a while.

hehe. All you have to do is find the right person in your guild or family who can sort things out for you or protect you. You don't need unbiased, you just need results!

Well, if the person close to you truly cares and trusts you then it shouldn't be an issue, but I wouldn't shut yourself out to people or you won't enjoy the world.

Hopefully it won't stretch out too long though.

Whats worse is I got an anonymous email saying they were hearing rumors about Simimi IC having some...shall we say.. naughty rumors going around about her...

People do that all the time, its irritating. >.> *eyes a certain family* Just ignore it if you know its not true and move on, when others ask. Deny it. You didnt do it, why should you have to live with people going after you for it? People are just silly at times

Problem is I -don't- know if it is not true..what if there are rumors of Simimi , rumors of the naughtiest nature, being spread around a certain area (Seren, Glom, Mag, etc)

Well, you've fallen prey to the first mistake. You care what others who don't know you nor think of your wellbeing think. As you care what you think, you're going to continue to be worried pretty much forever or until you change your mindset. Those who know and care about you shouldn't be worried (seriously, ask Traesri sometime what he thinks of Simimi) about it, which leaves those who don't know you and would like to see you fall.

Now granted, I am painting a very black and white picture. It's a survival tool though and one I've used for years. If it's stressing you out, I would recommend a few things. You could take it to the leaders of the people that are bothering you, speaking of how people in their commune/city are spreading slander and lies. If it's of an organization opposite to you, they already don't matter and there's no reason to fret over them. Many of the leaders of the respective organizations out there are pretty cool about things, so you never know. If it's still bothering you out of game, I'd say to let their leaders know in an OOC fashion stating that people are interfering with your enjoyment of the game due to actions they're taking. Ask that they cease and desist. Every single rational player I've met in this game is sympathetic to OOC strife and stress, as we all suffer from it to some degree.
