I had to write an essay about that one for my english lessons (not school, just classes to learn english, but pretty good) and I probably didn't like it much, because right now I don't ever rememebr it sad.gif

Lord I hate poetry. Only people I've met who are good at it are actually depressed people both sad cause of life or chemical inbalace depresed. Both work, both are usually good at poetry. I'm pretty happy go lucky mostt the time... so... I suck at it

I've written happy poetry before and it doesn't suck.. unsure.gif

Hmm maybe 't's just my expirience with poets. But my girlfriend used to write it when she was upset, this guy I met in New Found Land who was pretty deressed wrote poetry... A bunch of emo-kids at school do it... Thus from my expirience it seems only overly emotional (sad) people can write poetry. Plus, my english writing teacher would only read poetry about sad stuff, and gave low marks to happy poetry

It is easier to describe things vividly and intensely when emotional. Phrases and words spring to mind when going through intense emotions, often of sadness or anger. Thus it is, generally, harder to write poetry about 'happy' emotions than it is to write about 'unhappy' ones.

I tried to get Kidaen to write about something happy.. I don't think he liked that too much. sad.gif

Most of the poems I've had people write for me are happy poems. smile.gif And usually not romantic either. I have a few tucked away somewhere.

I like to write angry poems.. those are real good for letting out stress and slandering the person who caused such anger. evil.gif
