.... I have like 200 pages to learn + CCNA (first semester) until next Monday.. I'm just like OMG..  sad.gif  (And I can't start learning until Wednesday becauseI have a project to finish! ranting.gif)

I studied the CCNA on my own, how are you finding it? I didn't dare try the actual exam.
I'll be doing a cursed project in J2EE until friday, when I'll have to have everything working and a lot of silly documentation. The old good exclamation "It compiles!!" has been changed to "It compiles, but doesn't deploy ffs".

(Psst, I'm still gone. I should get some free time during the weekend maybe. Exams end for me on Monday. Until then... superninja.gif)

CCNA isn't that hard. The best way to learn is to borrow some Cisco stuff and play.

I'm going to try for it during my break from schooling. Hopefully my employer will fund me. At least I know the stuff, so the CCNA will be me trying to revise rather than learn from scratch. Really, the best way to learn is to get a couple of Ciscos and have to maintain them. smile.gif

Eh.. I have a Biology exam tomorrow, but I really don't give a damn about it. I'm doing rather well n my other classes though so I'm not too worried about them.

I have a bio exam tomorrow. I haven't even studied yet, and I really really need to do well... sad.gif Curse my worthless study skills and short attention span.
Manjanaia2005-12-14 18:49:31
I've got Science tomorrow. I really need to pull my science grade up, I'm predicted an A but my coursework is like a D so I'm gonna need a good grade here and then to go pull my coursework up.

I want to do Biology at A level along with Eng. Lit, Psychology and maybe French so I need a good science grade as well as a Maths. 'Cause everyone loves maths.

Stuuuudy. Biology sucks and general education should be banished from universities, but.. I think you'll do okay. If you have a study guide from the prof. just brush through that, but uh.. don't do what I did and just guess throughout the last exam. ninja.gif

I have two tests in the next two days. And another 8 or so in the three weeks of january I have before the end of the first half.

Stopped learning, though. School's my last problem at the moment.

Just a note, watch out for A-level maths. Seriously, I was really great at maths up until GCSE (A* and everything, it was really easy), but A-level is a completely different thing altogether. And I don't just mean it's harder, I mean it's studied in a -completely- different way. Compared to things like IT which was basically just the GCSE again but with more complicated Excel functions (rolleyes.gif) maths is so different. I sucked in A-level because the way you study it just doesn't work for me. GCSE is easy because you just apply the formulae you already know to the equations you're given, but maths required a level of flexibility I don't have. (It also requires actually understanding the equations rather than just knowing 'em, heh, 'cause you have to apply them in pieces and stuff...odd stuff.)

So you want to be really careful taking those. French is still easy at A-level, but they make you study really old French books, which is annoying as hell.

EDIT: Actually I completely misread your original post, but whatever. I'm leaving that there for any GCSE maths students who fall into the same trap I did in thinking they'll be better at A-level maths than they will be based on their GCSE grades and stuff. ninja.gif

I doubt it. My guess is about 60% And we didn't get a study guide because what would have been the last class got snowed out tongue.gif

A-level?
*is now confused*
Aiwendil2005-12-15 10:44:57
One last test tomorrow for me, then a 10-page mininmum website to hand in on Wednesday, complete with flowchart, to-do list and draft sketches of the layout. I plan to finish it within the span of one day.
Acrune2005-12-15 23:53:36
Last exam would be in 5 minutes, but it got snowed out until tomorrow. So I have 1445 minutes left to study for it tongue.gif
