I adopted Terenas' envenoming suggestion, it seems to work alright. I also forgot vitality. Again. smile.gif

So this is what happens when you swap weapons and go for damage when they're wounded.

Just wondering what Terenas' envenoming suggestions where?

Do them as you strike, not before combat. That way you get more choice.

Hmm, sounds interesting. I might try that, but it seems to add more work.

EDIT: Wow, Shiri, two minute response time. If only you where a firefighter tongue.gif

Nah, it doesn't add more work. smile.gif

#alias envenom_weapon { envenom @weapon1 with @venom1;envenom @weapon2 with @venom2 }
#alias e1 {#echo Envenom Mantakaya/Charbdyon;#set venom1="mantakaya";#set venom2="charbdyon"}

then

#alias jch { envenom_weapon;strike @target chest;strike @target chest}

kinda stuff.

I would try and pick someone up to cart them out of the window, collapse under their weight, fall down the ladder and break both our necks.

Sigh, being an einehander means less poison delivery, anyway, the envenoming one weapon with one and another venom with another won't work for me.

But applying another venom after you see that one of your venoms has worked might make sense. Since I have just one, it would just be a set of p1, p2, p3, p4, p5 or whatever to pick certain useful venoms.
Jack2005-12-11 06:06:37
Shoddy.

Incorrect tense in "break", and mispelled "their".

6/10.
Terenas2005-12-11 06:08:19
Problem is of course you can't see if a poison came off. I requested this in the last envoy report to no avail, so I'm hoping to envoy it again (unless they explicitly tell me not to tongue.gif ). But I've found that envenoming 2-3 times instead of 10-15 times ahead saves you on poison in case you want to wipe them off, and allows greater control over your poisons without having to waste them.

That I can see as working well. And what the Nil is Jack talking about?? huh.gif
Icarus2005-12-11 06:15:10
I actually weaponprobe my axe after each attack to see if a poison has come off, for example, whether the senso has come off after I pulled off a slitthroat. Not 100% accurate, but good enough for planning the next set of poisons or where to hit. smile.gif

My post. (Now fixed.) In my defence I was concentrating on D&D at the time. ninja.gif

QUOTE(Shiri)

Pick and collapse are both in present tense, therefore the correct verb should had been break, not broke.

Someone is singular, the correct antecedent should had been him/her/it, ther should had been spelled their and again the correct possessive should had been his/her/its.

That's actually a great idea, I've had the same idea for people using whammy but never got around to hard-coding a system like that, I'll try again later. smile.gif

I fixed it already! Go away! sad.gif

(And the "them" is technically fine actually, you're allowed to use that when the "them" in question is a person, where "it" wouldn't be appropriate, but not gender-defined. So ha.)

EDIT: And I'm going to follow you around and pick on all those words you pluralise for no good reason now, Moggy! angry.gif
Terenas2005-12-11 06:23:17
Nice editing, you still mispelled 'break'. biggrin.gif
Shiri2005-12-11 06:24:48
Damnit. >_<

EDIT: You're making it up! You're making it up! ninja.gif
Unknown2005-12-11 06:42:43
The only thing more sad than this spelling deviation is the fact that I almost used Lusternia emotes to describe how I felt. *sigh* *roll*
Shiri2005-12-11 06:46:59
Hey, at least no one's trying to blame it on me this time. (The hijack that is...)
Unknown2005-12-11 07:06:57
Yeah, it's all your fault tongue.gif.

And, on a more on topic note, what would a good set of poison combos be? I know mantakaya and niricol is pretty standard, and I've seen Murphy use charbydon in the stuff he posts. Oh, and senso with slitlock, but I'm looking for poison combos, not poison/affliction combos.

Dulak is pretty annoying in general, I didn't mention that after we sparred the other day.
