Have you tried fighting warriors with post-nerf weapons? without artifacts? Its not that scary.

Yes, and I got OMGWTFPWNED.

Of course, that was simply because I had no regeneration and legtendon screwed me over.

And I apparently didn't even think of it, tried AGAIN, and had to whore roll, and still died.

And I don't see warriors shouldn't be able to take off runes and attach them onto a different set of weapons before fighting, perhaps with a huge balance/eq lost or something. As it is, I have spent easily over 75-100 hours just forging for my weapons to get some decent ones. Not to mention that each sword of mine ranges between 30k-50k worth of comms. Seriously, no other archetypes have to invest so much time and money on their equipments. Oh, and we can't repair our weapons or armors as well. mad.gif

If warriors had been equivalent to mages to begin with, as they are appearing to try to be now, they would have started with an artifact that simply made their physical damage partially elemental, and applied in general to wieleded weapons, as Drawdown/Nightkiss does.

A few things...

Yes, old artifacts that were turned into runes can be traded in for the rune that now gives that effect. You message me the item number of your artifact and I will switch it.

As for moving them, I think our system already gives you far more than others. You can choose any items you want and turn it into an artifact. That option is in the other games, but you have to pay 50cr to customize the artifact after buying it. You're saving 50cr with our system, and you want more? blink.gif

I'll be adding the ability to PROBE an item to see what artifacts are on it shortly.

The whole idea behind an artifact auction is that they are unique. I don't think any of them will suddenly open for public sale.

Some additional artifacts in the store, however, would be nice.

I don't see what the fuss is about. If you're scared that warriors will be a nuisance if they can just switch their runes back and forth, the admin can just make it so runes can only be removed once a RL day, problem solved. (Granted, not for the first poor merian to walk in tongue.gif)

Hajamin:

Much love for the new system, but why not just allow people to remove runes and put them on a different kind of item for whatever reason they may have? I don't really see the -disadvantage- of it to anyone. Unless it'd be a pain to implement, but hey... more cookies for the admins!

I'm just saying, if everyone else can do it, warriors should be too. Even though I generally am against warriors and their complaints, no reason to discriminate here.

I think having them all be runes, and having them tradable at all sort of sends the wrong message, in that, you have the rune, why pay to move it? But I don't really care one way or the other, I love that we even get this much.

The way great runes work now in Lusternia, allow us to attain artifact weapons similar to the achaean lvl3 Logosian battleaxes and Soulpiercers for only 150 credits.. instead of 1600 credits, I don't think runes should be movable freely, that's just grabbing an arm if you're offered a hand.

Or rather, grabbing the guy, his family and his friends when he offers an arm.

We got nice things. But you got facepaints to increase balance or equi, you get passive healing with that totempole (I think) and you get medicine bag and all that.

If that was sarcasm, I am hurt.

Nah, it wasn't sarcasm. I am serious. BT have a much better offense than HS. So many things I would gladly trade up for in similarity with BT. The Spirit Totem isn't one of those.. That's my baby *snuggles totem* I was surprised that I got it through to be honest.

Hmmm...well, you got one more active skill in Druidry, but yeah...that's nitpicking, heh. Spiders is far superior to pathtwist, even if Pathtwist has some mean possibilities.
Crow and Stag...well, they are comparable now. Crow is a bit more...hrm...jesterish than stag.tongue.gif But else, I find we are pretty equal, hrm.

You also have Scarabs instead of Darkseed, which I would gladly trade for.
