I kinda burnt out again you guys and I don't think I'm going to be playing for awhile. A lot of things that I thought were important in the game aren't anymore and a lot of the work I did do wasn't worth it. So I finally just said it because no one seemed sincere with to all the work I had done. There isn't any obvious intrinsic value and right now Celest is not the place I want to play in. I thought things were going good and I had that awesome feeling of ok this is going to work because we are working together and I just got shot down. I'm not a leader and I became and Administrator because no retard was smart enough to pull it together.
I don't think forcing Celest into being something it never was is a good idea. My guild got crap all the time because it wasn't active enough. If they think it needs so much help why doesn't someone who has similar views to the Celestines buck up and actually transfer into it and whip it into shape. I know I am not that kind of person and I didn't get enough support. I made a program and tried to make it active and I tried to implement as much as I could making a full priest program and an apprenticeship but no one had time. There's never time and the game doesn't have a lot of people, especially in my guild, who actually want to work inside a game. The game isn't enjoyable past combat and I think I'll leave it alone for awhile. If Celest wants to be all spaso-absolute crusader I really don't want to be apart of it. Celest is the only city capable of being good and not forestal and thats the only reason why I am in it.
What really made me lose my cool was because Yurika Adee and Elgar left. And that just made me quit.
I may log in just to view my shop because Morik said he'd look after it for me. Thats possibly the only thing I care about in Lusternia besides about eight people. So like I said not worth it. Since Dumihru isn't around anymore I guess thats my queue to go as well. Adieu.
Oh here's my myspace.

Bye Qaletaqa
Yes, I'm trying to take Celest in the holy zealous crusader direction, and I'm sorry for going after you IC over that, but that's my role, it's what my character does. I still like you though, and your french accent is always amusing.

I didn't like it and my Guild didn't like it. Your way of leading pressured three of my guild members to leave my guild and two left Celest altogether. I lost half my guild system in less than a week thanks to your .
I hope your happy with your new outlook on Celest. Because its too late for Celest to be anything other than what we grew up with. No one cares. And I don't care to be apart of a crusadic empire. So yeah its off to delport for me because there's no where else to run but home.
Ekard2005-12-14 12:23:49
We will be missing you.
EDIT:
I dont think that turning Celest more into battle mode is worng.
I had enough of this: Daevos in city! noone come and he wiped out half of Celest.
Right now if haev a feeling that if he would come again more people would try to kill him and not run and screeming.
And i would go back to Celestines, they have great skills. But i would need to forgot to many skills (3 trans skills) and sell 2 runes and i would not have good use from my cartel too.
And i love my swords too.

Adee didn't leave, she was kicked out over something her character claims her character did not do, and then Elgar left over the aftermath rather than deal with the issue. Then Yurika said 'screw this' and left too. At least, that's what I saw from the outside. What actually happened, I don't know, and IC, Shorlen doesn't really care, so I never got around to finding out either.
Qaletaqa2005-12-14 12:34:04
You see 'I' the administrator didn't even know about a single thing that happened. All I know is that my guild ditched me, yet again.
Qaletaqa2005-12-14 12:35:24
No one wants to play a guardian and those that do don't care a lot about combat. Few. Very few. They are too complicated. Per capita guardians probably spend more on credits. And I'm just saying that to be contrary.

You dont even have to do that, just teach everyone the basic of guardian combat it really isnt complicated at all you just need at least decent amount of Celestialism and Tarot. This kinda made me feel bad about leaving the celestines but to get the guild more fighters just continue working on the combat path Atherius and I was working on and maybe you will get one person actually willing to continue learning to fight.
Rauros2005-12-14 13:45:24
*eyes his 3 trans guild skills*
Maybe I should learn how to fight...
shield stun/trueheal/soulless, ftw!
But I'm an Imperial Merian, so I'm useless anyway... oh well, so much for that idea.
To Qaletaqa: like I do with all Celestine guild leaders who quit... see ya!

Sorry to see you go, you were one of the more fun people, and I always think of your character as that smoking guy avatar you used to have.
Just make sure you transfer the cartel back to me before you quit (or take a break), unlike, oh... Veonira and Bastion.
Hopefully you'll come back and play with us in the future, it's good to have people around that want more out of a roleplaying game than just mindless bashing or playerkilling.

Your guild should learn to like it. Maybe if everyone who doesn't like it quits, there's hope for the Celestines yet
Unknown2005-12-14 15:34:03
You people say 'Just teach them the basics of...'. Just? Read over his post again. No one wants to learn within the Celestines. We have basically no people who ever choose to follow Methrenton, much less learn how to fight. My own tendancies run toward learning defensive measures at the most because I don't have the time or inclination to become 'average' by the ludicrous standards set by the people who fight in this game. I can't get that many credits, plain and simple.
The most irritating thing here is that Qaletaqa is my mentor. He was the first person to help me out within Lusternia, and he's someone I've always been able to talk to if I was having problems. Now that he's leaving, I have very little left within the guild. Elgar was my fellow Eradriot, having been anointed at the same time as me. Yurika I knew and liked, though I was never 'close' to anyone in the guild really.
Anyway, I'm not here to rant. This isn't Idiots after all. In closing I shall simply say that I know how you feel, Qaletaqa. May the Light illuminate your path and one day lead you back to us. At least one person recognizes and appreciates the effort you went to.

Then we'd be left with... 4 or 5 Celestines? Not that anyone cares about that guild anyway.

Then they can rebuild it and turn it into something cool! Something that doesn't involve learning about Supernals and using them as an excuse to do squat when we're being invaded
Morik2005-12-14 15:45:57
The supernal idea is fine. We've just never gotten the hang of how to RP it. Not that the Divine have been much help guiding that IMHO.
Kaileigh2005-12-14 16:12:21
We need a forum for "I'm leaving" messages.
