Stats and level? Other than surge what else are you using to achieve that?
Unknown2005-12-15 07:20:34
Melan can reach 14k health surged without being a tanky race but a speedy one.. faeling? Not sure what exactly he was when I saw that.

EDIT: Yeah I think it was faeling, he was hitting faster than me when we hunted back then. unsure.gif

And I can reach 10k mana with a TF smile.gif
Kharvik2005-12-15 07:21:00
When I was an Ur'Guard I had 12k health pretty often. I know Melanchthon had like 16 or 17k at one point. That is kind of ridiculus. Of course, health doesn't make you unkillable but still.. that is more than the Divine have in arena events!

high favour, tosha blessing, yellow chakra, constitution food, weathering, life blessing, surge, level 91, umm, knowledge, dolphin blessing +1 I believe, and drawdown. (10.9k health now)
Penelope2005-12-15 07:43:35
Dolphin Blessing boosts int.
Diamante2005-12-15 07:45:37
which, in turn, boosts my health. (Surge converts half mana to health)
Terenas2005-12-15 07:54:11
Health blessings should really not stack, as for Surge, I'm going to try and downgrade it in the upcoming envoy report.
Serrin2005-12-15 08:10:51
Right, down grade it... because gimping yourself against a guardian in order to survive a mage is overpowered.
Terenas2005-12-15 08:14:32
If you have never played a knight on other IRE games, you don't know how good we have it here, period.
Shorlen2005-12-15 08:22:12
I still hold that knights are unbalancedly overpowered. Of course, I don't fight (yet), so I have no room to speak, I guess.

I do too, but it's impossible as hell trying to convince other warriors of the same thing. Half the warriors in the Bellator Societas clan thinks I'm out to nerf warriors to the ground.

Yeah, you're definitely right. It's why my first character was a warrior* and if I weren't holding out for an assassin-type archetype I'd go back instantly (That and if I had 900 credits sad.gif )

* Changed knight to warrior. Not that it matters.

It's not like you can't just turn it off if a guardian jumps you you know.
Unknown2005-12-15 08:36:04
It's scary because against Dia, he can have like 10K health, and still moonburst for high amounts of damage, quickly, as much i as i hate to say it, we should nerf dia, that's all. tongue.gif
Sylphas2005-12-15 09:52:05
I really need to get my warrior alt to a half decent level, and grab surge at some point, just to feel what it's like to have more than 3k health for once in my IRE playing experience. It's been 4-5 years now, and I've never broken 3.5k. sad.gif

EDIT: Wait, nevermind, I was a level 73 dwarf in Achaea for about 2 days, that put me over 4k.
Unknown2005-12-15 12:37:47
Yes, there are definately too many buffers.
Ixion2005-12-15 12:38:44
Maggot Diamante, complaint resolved.

With the way some of you aim, someone else is gonna get hurt tongue.gif

Nah, isnt it more that when youre a low skilled warrior it can be extremely hard to do some good fighting? And get health up high? Especially with the four races that are the mains of the Orgs. If so, then warriors with that much health had to earn it with learning higher into skills. If Im wrong, feel free to point it out. I dont know where surge is, Spheres are past Master in Astrology, Drawdown is Trans. Life sure is easy enough to get, but you still have to maintain it.
Xavius2005-12-15 14:48:56
Omnitrans can be a little unreasonable, but almost fully transed guild skills is pretty much assumed when you're analyzing high-level combat.

When swoop is unbugged, the Blacktalon might be able to fight warriors. I don't know how a Hartstone is expected to deal with a tank like that, though. There simply isn't enough power in cudgel to kill someone wearing plate and walking around with over 10k health. I'm going to play around with sip and bleeding numbers for the envoy reports, but I'm going to go out on a limb and hypothesize that someone could outsip all of that for almost a minute while idling sapped. You shouldn't be able to walk away from the computer knowing fully well that a druid couldn't kill you before you get back.
