Someone made a thread asking how far we'd go for a Lusternia meet. Weeeell... I'm not going to any meet, but I may be going to visit one Lusternian, half a world away.

I got some paid time off approved over my birthday next year in July, and I may get a bit more that will allow me to have it with two weekends, so I could end up going to New Zealand for a week, then two days (ugh) of flying total.

If there was a pale-skinned irish chick who knew how to dance that played lusternia and she wanted me to come see her, I'd go so far as to start a riot downtown so I could steal the money I needed for a plane ticket.

I flew from Valdosta, Ga to Atlanta, Ga. Then from Atlanta, Ga to Denver, Co to meet someone from Achaea once. It was a surprise for his 30th birthday. He was my husband on Achaea at the time so it was SO worth the trip. I got there and was sitting around at his surprise birthday party when he showed up. He greeted all his friends and when he got to me he gave me an odd look and was polite in saying "You look familiar. Have we met before?" And I'm like "No, we haven't met. I'm ." and he about fell over dead. It was awesome. I ended up spending 5 days and having the time of my life...then crying my eyes out when I had to leave. Good times.

That's a sweet story.

Oh that's so cute. To be honest I wouldn't really fly across the world to see someone. Probably because I'm broke, and because I've proven to be a very awkward person when meeting someone from the internet. Not only from the internet, but even if they talk to me online through facebook and go to my school. Eesh.
