Preface to the poll:
I've been trying to figure out what the heck to do with Ixion. His entire family is gone now, he's single sorta, and he resigned as GM finally.
1) My least favorite option due to personal reasons.
2) I really want to make a merc rogue guild but the chance that it happens is 0% since rogues suck utterly, and always will since conflict is org/org only.
3) I have no desire at all to go to Glom, despite my fondness for Shikari. Serenwilde.. I'd rather be in Celest. Celest: I'd go to be with Aesyra (who would be active if I went there), however I'd have to leave my order, and quite frankly I like being TF'd almost all the time.
4) I imagine the wait to be a long ass time, knowing that Kethuru was the last one that motivated me to stick with Lusternia and that they take a lot of planning- so not really a god option.
5) The reason I made the poll- I hope the members of this forum can think up a new lifestyle for Ixion that I have not already pondered. I ask for your help in brainstorming such.
Thanks for the opinions in advance.

Basically.. I'd say to what -you- want to do. If you want to start a merc guild least you can do is ask if it would be possible at all.. plus, Haja TF's a lot too you just need to offer much

Come to Celest!
Aesyra will be back if you will be here i'm sure.
It could be fun. Lets say that you saw Light at least!
You could have small troubles getting in, but Ekard will for yes. He have great respect for you.

He made me promise to come back if he went to Celest.. and I keep my promises so yeah I'd had to.
On topic: New lifestyle hmm... well I think if you left Mag and joined any other org besides Glom your lifestyle would change -alot- on it's own. There's a lot that still needs to be done in Celest and if you feel up to a challenge you would be welcome to try.
But if you want to try some new RP.. I've found it quite fun to play a totally hypocritic Celestian using anything Light related to justify my actions. It's fun really.
Ixion2005-12-16 10:17:09
More like I asked you and you said yes, but same result in any event.
Narsrim2005-12-16 10:18:16
I'm going to be honest: you'd never get into Serenwilde. Your best bet would be Celest.
Hajamin2005-12-16 10:20:55
Celest wouldn't be all that easy too, but possible.
Unknown2005-12-16 10:23:52
I've always been for giving people a -chance-. If they suck up they can still be kicked, no harm done. But how do you want to convert anyone without giving them a chance? There's two ways to beat your enemies: Kill them or convert them. Later is preferably as it would mean your own troops would get stronger in the process.. if all works out that is.
Ixion2005-12-16 10:24:20
I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have that hard of a time getting in.
But anyway, need some other options if you all can think of any.

You've never been a citizen before so you would most likely get a chance. Though.. it would be one or two IG years of probation. Any screw up in that time.. and you're gone. You'd also have a lot to make up for. But if you really want it, we'd (most likely) give you a chance. We wouldn't make it easy you've been a major raider brother, but hey people can change can't they?
As for other options.. you can always wait for Hallifax or Gaudiguch but meh.. that might take -a long time-. *ponders*
Ixion2005-12-16 10:40:48
Guad or Hali.. yeah that's like waiting for another big event.
Shiri2005-12-16 10:43:08
You're going to be waiting on what, 6 months for that yet? Estarra said a year, and it's only been 6 months since Glomdoring came out IIRC.

It's a good thing you don't decide who gets in or not, then.

Actually, I would in this case. Ixion would have to become unenemied to the Moondancers before he could join and guess who has a major vote in that?
Ixion2005-12-16 10:56:54
I would think the three guild leaders, which you are not one of. Im not too motivated to join a commune except for drawdown/nk, and thats the wrong reason for joining in the first place.
Torak2005-12-16 11:03:31
Stay in Magnagora , I'd hate to have to kill you repeatedly solo *cough*.

Can I say this to him brother: ?
Cwin2005-12-16 13:14:36
No, you have to stay with us. We still need you and, as you can tell, there's nothing useful elsewhere. The other nations are junk. Stay in Mag
Ok, that out of my system, the tricky part about Celest would be "What got Ixion to turn over and hate the taint". I'm not one of those folks who just assume you can tell everything about a character by what they think they see and say "You've been doing this for so long and NOW you change?! OMG BAD AR PE!", so I believe it's possible, but that's a dramatic 180% in a following: would your character realy do that?
Assuming yes, then definatly I'd pick Celest. I would suggest, though, that you shouldn't do the same thing in Celest that you did in Mag, since then it'll just feel like "the same old grind". By the way it sounds, Ixion sounds kind of lonely now, and I can see his status (you're right about the perma-GM thing) getting in the way of that. Perhaps once you're there you should focus on social aspects more; find a pretty merian to be with, perhaps look after a few tykes like an adoptive papa. Go scholerly, and so on.
The other option would be to help out over in Deepnight. Be a citizen there and see if you can draw a few more people for the place.
edit: Blah, just reread the first post. Sounds like you already have someone there. Celest it is then.
