What's that again? I don't think I've heard of it...
Soll2005-12-18 21:08:20
You will when Ixion slaps people around, 'preaching' about it. ("Join or I keel you. Roar.")
Acrune2005-12-18 23:50:53
Ixion in Celest... wouldn't that be a switch.

In all honesty, Ixion, I think Cwin is correct in that you should have a big think about the character Ixion's style of life.
It's all very well everyone giving suggestions about which organisation to go to, but if you go to the Paladins and become GM and play Ixion exactly the same way as you did as an ur'Guard, you will come right back around to this place, and in a much shorter time.
If you want an actual long-term solution, you have to start sending Ixion off in different focuses to those he had, change the kinds of circles he mixes in and the way he spends his time. Also, broadening what you do so he's not so one-track is a good idea. Find an Order, get involved in different organisations doing different things.
A goal never hurts, but I'm loath to suggest you go for Demigod or Titan, because I'm sick of seeing "Kalas" at the top of the rankings. There are other goals you can pursue, and other interests. Maybe you can write a book about keeping military discipline in a guild, and the pitfalls of leadership and that kinda crap. Like ex-US Presidents do!

Very nice comments, thanks. I dont plan on picking up leadership roles again anytime soon, except leading group combat.
Also, (see bold) I'm already an avatar, you just don't won't know it for a month or two.
Simimi2005-12-19 02:03:07
I would like to see Ixion in Celest, just because he has been such a sweetheart to me, even when I am farscouting him, or see him in the Aetherplex, despite my being a Celestine.
Make more Kalas! *whipcrack*
I would also like to see HOW Ixion would actually represent The Light and Its Teachings...
Just do what you want and make yourself happy...go kick Shye again that made you both happy *halo*, throw her ball or something...
Make Mimi a Kalas....

I think as long as he makes it a noticeable rp change and it lasts for a little bit before changing then i don't care where he gose. It would be intresting seeing him away from magnagora though sense i started playing when i think of mag i think of daevo murphy marcalo and ixion. Just would be weird him not there anymore.

I voted for other. Marry Athana, and take on her already found children. Cairam would make a great daughter - heck, she already is.
Don't go to Celest. Come to Glomdoring. Please?

Wasn't Athana married to Revan?
Unknown2005-12-19 18:08:26
and divorced and engaged and....I lost track in there *grin* Grats you two by the way :-D
Urath2005-12-25 06:04:48
Get this Ixion. Try moving to Glomdoring and become an herbalist. Farm weed and become a peace loving man. I would do that if I needed some life change.
Marcalo2005-12-25 22:25:23
Ixion your character helped mold Marcalo into the ur'guard he became. So if Ixion left Magnagora, Marcalo would consider following just because he respects Ixion that much. Also all i can say is do what you think will make you happy and screw what anyone else says or tries to do about it.
Murphy2005-12-26 00:54:01
bah, so long as you don't fight against us, or i'll be forced to smack your bitch ass down.
Just make sure you do'nt waste too many lessons or change classes or anything silly. You will end up missing Magnagora most likely, but its what you need to get playing again and enjoy it, then do so.

Who're you again?
Who're you again?

Well, now we know who is bumping ALL OF THESE OLD POLLS. AAAAAAARGH!
Unknown2006-01-31 17:43:52
Thanks for blowin' my cover, Xenthos.
Malicia2006-01-31 18:22:16
What -is- Ixion going to do anyways?
Unknown2006-01-31 18:33:16
Most likely stick with Ur'Guard. He's going to be more of an active combatant again though, I think.
I love the Merc idea, and it seems like it's been lingering for a long time. I heard Shinza wanted to do something similar. I think Ixion would spring for the Merc guild over Ur'guard -if- he had a small group ready to dedicate, and didn't have to manage it alone.
