POTENTIAL HARRY POTTER SPOILERS, DO NOT READ BELOW IF YOU CARE
heh. my friends, somehow spurred on by HP4, decided to bug me into joining HOL with them (yes i am an invertebrate(thats the right insult isn't it))
we leave them in the dust forumwise.
I've made like 5 posts looking for info, one being about the site www.dumbledoreisnotdead.com and nothing. So i got bored and decided to look through their posts, there are a few topics that will recieve some popular support but that means one or two posts per day.
gods i love these forums, i get bored over there.
Anyway to pre-re-direct my topic, anyone else care about the aledged clues pointing to dumbledores lack of a death?

Dude, spoiler tags. Some people might not have read the book yet. I hear there are some rather large rocks available for hiding under, and it might take a while to navigate your way out from under them.

I think Dumbledore is truely dead. I also think that he set it up intentionally so Snape would kill him to help save Malfoy from taking a life and turning evil, if you think about it, it completely fits with the way Dumbledore is. It also fits with why Snape was so angry and argueing with dumbledore earlier in the book.
In my oppinion, Harry is insanely dense. He has no sense of subtlety and wouldn't be able to figure out hidden intentions or agenda's or plots that might be slightly secret if his life depended on it. Sadly though, Hermione and Ron also come up short in that area... Regardless of how clever Hermione is.
Oh, and if your reading this, and have not read book 6 yet... Face it, you don't care enough for me to care about spoiling it for you. The books been out for ages.

It's awesome fun being able to take a look at the book early because you get library copies the day before it actually comes out.
Except for the vile threats if we should let the public know about it.

Dumbledore = Jesus
Snape = Judas
OMG! J.K. Rowling has gone the way of C.S. Lewis! It's even in the name! *flap*
...just kidding.

It's a kids story. He'll be alive or be ressurrected or whatever. In kids books the good ones never die unless they've been evil and then converted to goodness, and the book is american.
And about subtlety... They're 14 o 15 years kids. You don't develop sublety until 20 or so

The book is rather British. And if he comes back, book 7 is going to be crap.

While there are plenty of subtle signs that he might return(below), I sincerely hope he does not. I also believe J.K. Rowling is better than bringing back someone who was, up to now, the (second?) strongest character in the story. It allows the book to focus even more on Harry and Voldemort's quarrels, and denies the chance that Harry could be saved by 'Good ol' Dumbledore' at the last second before certain doom.
Non-verbal spells.
Dumbledore flies backwards and off the tower when hit with the Avada Kedavra, as opposed to the others who just fall over dead.
Spells must be meant to take effect.
Dumbledore's Phoenix's song.
Snapes argument with Dumbledore.
Dumbledore's unwaivering trust in Snape.
Dumbledore freezing Harry before he dies.
Dumbledore's body/wand aren't seen after he dies.
Dumbledore spontaneously combusts at the funeral. He's not set alight. (Phoenix Anigamus, perhaps, can tie in with Order of the Phoenix. Dumbldore's Order.)
Perhaps Unbreakable vows can be tricked, as most magic, by having everyone believe the terms were completed.
Many more, but I won't go further because I hope that he really is dead. I feel that would be advantageous to the progression and end of a well-finished series.
