I found this log of my RP back in the day..when, well...I actually tried to RP. Found it interesting after all the stuff with Glomdoring, Serenwilde, and Magnagora.




Rowena Nightshade gives you the once-over, eyeing you suspiciously.

You bow respectfully to Rowena Nightshade.

You say, "Greetings m'lady."

Rowena Nightshade says, "What's a faeling doing in Glomdoring."

Rowena Nightshade mutters discontentedly.

You say, "I was searching for remnants of my past, the hauntings of my dream."

You say, "Might I ask why someone with beauty such as your is hiding under a
tree?"

Rowena Nightshade says, "Hiding?"

Rowena Nightshade says, "I wouldn't call this hiding."

You look about yourself, rubbing your chin thoughtfully.

You say, "Still, it seems abit odd to find you here."

You say, "Do you await someone, or do you serve some other purpose beneath
these roots?"

Rowena Nightshade says, "The same could be said of you."

You say, "My nightmares first came to haunt me upon stepping in these woods."

Rowena Nightshade says, "I await Brother Crow to return, and Mother Night."

You say, "Brother crow?"

You scratch your head looking for an idea.

Rowena Nightshade says, "Yes, Brother Crow."

You say, "I have heard that someplace before."

Rowena Nightshade says, "He was once called Raven by us of the Ravenwood."

Comprehension flashes across your face.

You say, "The Ravenwood, from the histories....that is many years ago, far
beyond our mortal time."

Rowena Nightshade cackles hellishly.

Rowena Nightshade says, "I am no longer mortal, faeling."

You say, "You are the Rowena from the stories?"

You shake your head.

Rowena Nightshade says, "I am."

You say, "That cannot be, I have heard from many in the story circles you
perished m'lady."

Rowena Nightshade is a stunningly beautiful elfen woman. Her raven locks are as
dark as pitch and her skin is as pale as bone. Her lips are bright red and
glisten, parting to reveal perfect white teeth. Her almond eyes are dark
violet, glittering coldly and cruelly, penetrating into all those before her.
Clinging to her curvaceous form is a dark black dress that moves of its own
accord around her body, made not of cloth but of animated shadows.
Rowena Nightshade looks to be crushingly strong.

You say, "Though you do match the discription the elders gave."

Rowena Nightshade says, "Those who told you this knew nothing. Brennan and
others among the Night Coven changed, but for the better."

You say, "Why are you here m'lady? Why not come unto the lands and see what has
become of the Basin?"

You say, "For the better...I heard Brennan was ...tainted?"

Rowena Nightshade says, "I will not abandon that which is my home."

Rowena Nightshade says, "All of us were."

You say, "Aye, that is noble, but is not your home corrupted?"

Comprehension flashes across your face.

You say, "You do not appear of the taint as the others do m'lady."

Rowena Nightshade says, "Not corrupted faeling. Changed for the better."

You say, "Forgive my ignorance."

You suck thoughtfully on your teeth.

Rowena Nightshade says, "Not on the outside, but on the inside I have changed
throughout."

Rowena Nightshade says, "Say what you will, but those not of the Taint will
never know its power."

You say, "Why don't you join me, I will leadyou to Serenwilde and you may help
us with the histores. You must know much that the rest do not know!"

Rowena Nightshade says, "And thus, you know nothing."

Rowena Nightshade says, "Serenwilde is no home to me."

You say, "But all the stories may it clear that the taint is of evil."

Rowena Nightshade says, "And who says this?"

You say, "And to become tainted means you sacrifice your humanity..."

You mumble incoherently.

Rowena Nightshade says, "Evil is in the eye of the beholder."

You say, "You speak true m'lady."

Rowena Nightshade says, "I see no evil."

You say, "You do not seem evil."

You say, "The elders can be wrong...I guess, though it's not common."

You say, "Why would they say such a thing, is not the city of Magnagora evil,
it is taintedis it not?"

Rowena Nightshade says, "They are afraid, Ethelon."

Rowena Nightshade says, "Afraid of what they could be."

You blink.

Rowena Nightshade says, "Afraid of power."

Rowena Nightshade says, "They are weak, like I once was."

You say, "Why would anyone be afraid of power, especially if it can be used for
the betterment of the mortal races."

Rowena Nightshade says, "Perhaps you should ask them."

You say, "Aye, but it will always be the same answers I'm afraid."

Rowena Nightshade says, "Glomdoring is not for the weak, Ethelon."

Rowena Nightshade says, "The taint is not for the weak. It is for the strong."

You say, "Is that all this taint is good for, those who wish to be strong?"

Rowena Nightshade says, "Oh no."

Rowena Nightshade says, "Once you embrace your new being, you can see with eyes
unclouded."

Rowena Nightshade says, "All the world is exposed to you in a new way."

You say, "Is there a way back once you embrace such?"

Rowena Nightshade says, "Perhaps. None have yet tried, or even wanted to."

You look about yourself, rubbing your chin thoughtfully.

Rowena Nightshade says, "Once you set foot on the other side, there is no going
back."

You say, "Would it not be good to attempt it? I've never met one with knowledge
such as yours. You may be speaking hidden meanings, things that may help the
Serenwilde...."

You scratch your head looking for an idea.

Rowena Nightshade says, "I would not speak a lie about who I am."

You say, "I believe you m'lady."

Rowena Nightshade says, "But that is for you and you alone to judge."

You say, "How would one taste this power you speak of?"

Rowena Nightshade says, "There is a way."

Rowena Nightshade says, "Resurrect Crow."

You tilt your head and listen intently to Rowena Nightshade.

You nod your head emphatically.

Rowena Nightshade says, "He can help you, and Serenwilde."

Rowena Nightshade says, "He has that power."

You say, "That would be well, Magnagora is seeking dominance of the lands."

You suck thoughtfully on your teeth.

Rowena Nightshade says, "Crow can help unite the forests."

Rowena Nightshade says, "That is what you want, isn't it?"

You say, "Aye, it is what I seek."

Rowena Nightshade says, "To be one coven again?"

You nod your head at Rowena Nightshade, showing your acceptance.

Rowena Nightshade says, "Then that would be the only way."

You say, "I shall seek this then, if only to gain the knowledge I seek."

Rowena Nightshade says, "If my glorious master is reborn, the forests can once
again be united into one coven, one people."

Rowena Nightshade says, "May Mother Night guide you, Ethelon."

You say, "Thank you m'lady."

You bow respectfully to Rowena Nightshade.

Rowena Nightshade's mouth turns up as her face breaks into a smile.

Wish she had conversations like that more often, I'd love to talk to Rowena, without just getting spit at

But then again, I wonder if I'd even know what to say

I demand more interactive NPC's!

Actually, over the last few days Divine have been really good with going through NPCs for conversations with me. It's been truly amazing, so perhaps you're just catching them at a bad time. Totally immersive when it happens, though. Keep trying?

I suppose I'll have to...

Tried sparking up a conversation with Gwyllgi yesterday, think I would have fallen out of my chair had he responded, though.

It's just one of those things, on one hand; I'd adore it. It really brings depth to the whole rp aspect of the game (Still amused by that quote with the Hunting Avatar of Avechna, I almost cried I was laughing so hard), and yet on the other hand I'd probably be so stricken by surprised I'd find an alarming lack of things to say.

How exactly does one greet the original founder of their coven?

Not to mention the technical creator of their race...

"Hail, Rowena, thanks for tricking Laeroc and making little shadow faelings like myself"

Somehow doesn't quite fit...

Not to mention it always looks like her children and her are out to kill each other but the male of the twins was funny to listen to.
