Bah, it is arguably overpowered in the hands of a Dreamweaver or when an ecologist stacks mud with it. Other than those cases, I see no problem with it. Also, a simple solution to the mud stacking is to make sure Sap is always cured first (Right now, mud is always cured first.)

The main purpose of mud is to slow a person's movement. A side effect of placing mud on a person is that it is always cured first. That side-effect can be removed, without changing the original purpose of the affliction.

Probably the intended purpose is that it slows movement...it's only used to hinder the fast curing of sap though.

Unfortunately, they need to be done at different elevations and there's nothing that hinders curing mud beyond paralysis, which is better saved for sap.

This is slightly off-topic, but it's one thing I've always wondered about aeon in Lusternia. Why does it allow only one command at a time, and not just delay all your actions?

Because otherwise, it'd stink. You just send every command a second before you need it to go through. In fact, you can still do that as long as you aren't outrifting herbs or clotting. Then it gets to be a pain.

A hell of a lot more blocks cleansing mud and sap beyond paralysis, you know. Like web, broken limbs, being off-eq/balance (i.e from spiders or stagstomp), and so forth.

I threw 2 berserks of dendroxin at alamander and he cured sap so I dont know about broken limbs stopping cleansing? He's aprentice resilience so I highly doubt he shrugged them

The above log shows that I was not able to cast cleanse until after I cured by my broken arm and my broken leg.
Addendum: Just conducted a test with Terenas. It is possible to use a cleanse enchantment when your arms are broken, but it is not possible for a mage to cast cleanse under the same circumstances. So in this situation, people with the enchantment are a bit better off than mages.

And such isnt the case for you since you can just scrub and really we dont fight any other mages with sap for the sole reason of being able to cleanse but I guess it's better to use then

Yes there are druids who still take runes, and in fact both Kaervas and I are trying to find ways to make runes more than just "that skill you take because we need statues and totems".
As for Sap. Instead of just waving banners saying "overpowered", why not suggest things for Druids so that we don't have to rely on Sap so desperately. If anyone thinks Druids are viable combatants without Sap, I would suggest they become one.

From what I've seen, Munsia does fine against most people without Sap. She, however, is top-tier, and not a useful indication of how Sap is for everyone else. It still shows its possible though.
I think Sap is fine as something to slow you down. Its the rest of the stuff that can be added to stopping you curing Sap, thats what sucks. All someone has to do is hinder and afflict until they can line you up for sap JUST before demesne paralysis sets off, and pow.
Make sap not give aeon. Make it like paralysis - you need to cure it to move. You can't use anything to cure that requires arms or legs (so not chanting puella to boost health, for example.) Make sap interfere with your clotting: so if you don't cure it, you /will/ bleed to death. But this means people will still need to cure what they need to in order to cure sap and your cudgel gets time for the bleeding to set in.
