What happened was Shinza and a bunch of others got together in her manse for some fights, and Hajamin shows up. After He and Viravain make fun of mortals (because we hadn't figured it out yet), Hajamin gave us a practical demonstration. "Hajamin packs something something" So I got on with trying to use the pack command.

After I try all sorts of permutations of "pack sparkleberry into figurine" He says something about how someone who works with herbs a lot would know how to fold the sparkleberries small enough. I ask for a herbalist (who luckily was skilled enough without knowing it!) and asked him to try a few variations of the pack command.

Eventually one worked, and there was much rejoicing

What can herbalists do with them?

Herbalists take sparkleberries and "pack" them into a figurine. Then when the figurine fights, it has a chance of using one of the stored sparkleberries to heal itself.

can herbalists pack anything else into them?

I'm not sure what other herbs would really help. It'd be fun to have them smoking faeleaf though. *twiddle*

Nope. But try roleplaying other trade add-ons! Figurines with teeny suits of armour from forgers, or miniscule swords! Or with shiny necklaces that stun the other figurines! Or with poison food they shove down their enemies necks!
