Ooh ooh, and on a slightly related note, anyone UK people watched Peep Show? Goddamn that shows funny.

Family Guy = Old Simpsons > Futurama > King of the Hill > New Simpsons

If we're talking about the old series, I miss Kirby (I was like 6 and only caught the last episode of the series, heh, so I want to see the rest ), and that computer-animated insectoids things with the colour guns and the cockroach and everything. That was awesome.

Nothing compares to Simpsons!
The sheer amount of creative force needed to keep finding subjects after all this time on air is amazing.
Simpsons all the way.

While South Park beats all of them in Risque and intelligence (The whole concept of looking at wold issues through the eyes of a child, then getting obvious solutions is amazingly true), I'd go with Simpsons any day. Family Guy isn't really funny. Simpsons are waay more original. (Two and a baby while Homer working at Nuclear plant, if anyone gets it. I only know from my grade 12 world issues)

I have the first two series on DVD. Incredibly funny.

Family Guy all the way. Next to South Park it is the only show I actually laugh out loud at. Simpsons have become pretty boring lately
Kaervas2006-01-05 20:32:05
South Park > All. Though I prefer Simpsons to Family Guy and Futurama is about equal to Simpsons, apparently they're considering bringing Futurama back which would kick ass.
Arix2006-01-05 20:34:52
I miss Futurama. Fortunately I got the first four volumes on DVD for Christmas
Daganev2006-01-05 22:06:21
Simpsons is the only one that doesn't rely 100% on bahtroom humor.. sorry.
Richter2006-01-05 23:33:07
I miss the Zelda and Mega Man cartoons...
Oh, yeah, I prefer the Simpsons. Probably because I grew up around them, and haven't seen as much Family Guy. I think I prefer the Simpsons anyway though, I think they're still as fresh as they always were.

Never saw that one.
But I miss some of those old things too (one of the sonic ones was good, not the other 3 though.) And umm. Kirby. When I was like 6 I loved those.

Not true. Not only does the Simpsons use bathroom humour, but Family Guy actually has a hell of a lot of depth to its humour, whether it is dirty or not.

I would agree with this. Family Guy has lots of obscure parody humour that sometimes is hard to get if you are not knowledgeable about what it is parodying. For example, one of the funniest things for me was Stewy riding his tricycle through random things, including the Doom video game, obviously parodying both the game and the classic show Police Squad, and also seeing Cobra Commander as the chairman of the evil FCC. The Willie Wonka extended parody was also quite clever.
