Once i get my debit card i'll be buying Zmud as its my favourite system. I'll also be on the look out for a good system as i cant code for crap. Does anyone know of any reliable systems and could you list their price if you know them.
Thanks
Thanks

For Zmud go for Thorgal's or Murphy's, though I'm not sure if either play much anymore, so the updates may be abit behind in the future. I think Murphy sells his for 50crs and Thorgal sells his for 100crs.

ah ok, thanks

I sell my LCP for 30 credits. It's a little behind on some of the skills and the curing isn't perfect, but it's great as a base system to build on yourself and it's kept me alive in many (team fighting) situations. I'm in the process of re-writing the entire thing, so I hope to have a much smoother version some day (perhaps far in the future, however).

As you update your own system will you pass it on?
I'll definately keep you in mind anyway. Within a week and a bit, i'll give you a PM .

Updates to my system are available for free to anyone who has purchased it, though they will need to ask me for any updates. Most users have made their own extensive changes and would not be able to easily update to my latest version, which I completely understand and respect.
So far, no one who has purchased my system has come back to me with any problems, just a few questions on how to configure things. I know it's not because the system is flawless, but because those who purchase the system do so with the intent to customize it and just want to save time with the initial work of building something.

oi, i still play and i'm in the middle of building my system up again since i lost a lot of it in a power surge along with the rest of my pc, only my ram survived......
anyway i'm selling off my base version of my system, which i'm using at the moment for 30 credits. Its being sold explicitly as a base for people to customise and fine tune for their own needs.
There can never be one perfect system, because different people take different wounding, have different health and keep some afflictions as a higher priority than others.

I messaged you though and you never replied...
tell me a bit about your basic system please

basic system is all the afflictions, curing parry stancing wound curing and a few utility scripts and whatnot.
It is configed to me and what i require from a system, not to mention it's still being worked on like I said. I use it currently without too much of a problem but it'll need you to tweak it out for your own purposes.
For instance I have it set to add a certain number of wounding points if a warrior hits me, if you aren't a warrior that number will be different.
I also have it set with the health cutoffs for my own personal health and sipping levels as well as an aslaran. So it'll take some shoehorning and tweaking to make it work for you. So far i haven't had any complaints and a certain couple of people i haven't been able to kill reliably when they use it.

So your system would be better suited to a warrior than a druid i take it.
Unknown2006-01-05 12:51:45
Most systems seem to be suited to warriors .
Murphy2006-01-05 14:06:31
only my offence is suited to a warrior, and part of the curing but thats only determining wounding taken per hit on average.
Marcalo2006-01-05 15:50:59
Speaking as a person who's used both Murphy's and Thorgal's systems both are quality systems. If you put forth the effort to learn them and know how things work. If you just want a grab and go system well these aren't for you.

I have a readme file for installation, yes. It also lists all the key aliases you need to use the system and what they do. Beyond all that, I'm the help file. Like I said, though, everyone who's purchased it thus far has never come back with any bug reports and only one or two asked for help on the installation.
I've seen Thorgal's system, and if he still sells it and supports it (and you have credits enough), I'd actually recommend you buy from him.
Selwin2006-01-05 23:34:01
I'm also selling my basic system for five credits!

Wow, so its that good?
Asarnil2006-01-06 12:34:51
Yes it is. Not to mention that buying it gives you the divine right to pester him incessantly on any little thing about the system that comes to the top of your head. And when he says that the system he sells is better than the system he personally uses - believe him. I didn't and it cost me 300 sparkleberry. *grin*
Kharne2006-01-08 08:47:10
Could someone tell me some of the basic commands to Thorgals systems (and more specifically how to turn off parrying...very very annoying) as he hasnt been on AIM in a bit
Asarnil2006-01-08 09:17:17
Try his other AIM - Hathrael. If he isn't on his Thorgal one, he is on the Hathrael one on a daily basis. As for the parrying thing it involves two checks from memory - look for add x parrying and add x parrying_try or something like that. This is just going off the top of my head by the way as I haven't messed around with that part in a while.
