Hmm, there's only tailoring, cooking and enchanting left! halo.gif

I agree, make powerstones easier to come along now, I'm feeling bad charging people 3k+ for a single powerstone. sad.gif

Not to mention you can use USED powerstones for figurines.

Theres no reason they should be any more rare than they were before

Now that theres finally a use for those old empty powerstones that people used to throw away you should use those for figurines and save selling the full ones to enchanters/alchemists.

In fact it would be a real waste to use a full powerstone for a figurine. ohmy.gif

Honestly I don't understand the point of needing to use powerstones if there is no power within them.

They are just rocks at that point.

Isnt when it says theyre at 0% theres like .5% power left? I think someone said that somewhere..

But then you get it enchanted, right? Powerstones, I'm guessing, interact with power differently than normal stones.

Like a rechargeable battery.

I wish the rarity of powerstones would stop jumping all over the scale. Of late, I've been cutting about one for every fifteen gems or so, as compared to the normal twenty, but yesterday that jumped up to one in thirty-six... it just seems rather cruel, especially when the majority of items cut are sulfur and salt. Sulfur and salt are FAR too common. I have thousands of them, literally, sitting there wasting away in my rift and pocketbelt (only one for now, I'll need another shortly though - I've been giving it away or dropping it in my shop till I got that pocketbelt).

Please, please, please, pretty please, can salt and sulfur either suddenly find new uses or be more rare? It's so frustrating to cut more of those than I do of each gem.

Lets use salt and sulfur to power figurines instead! biggrin.gif

Ok, I'm mad now, and rather than starting a new topic, I thought I'd add it to the topic already about powerstones.

I just cut 100 gem comms. In one sitting. Didn't move, stop, nothing. No disfavours. Still a trans jeweller with a hammer of my own.

Not one. Single. Powerstone. Not one. 100 gems. No powerstones.

22 amethyst, 14 beryl, 21 bloodstone, 35 coral, 15 diamond, 42 emerald, 24 garnet, 14 jade, 25 moonstone, 18 onyx, 23 opal, 35 pearl, 24 ruby, 44 salt, 49 sulfur, 16 sapphire, 34 turquoise.

As usual, way too much salt and sulfur, but... no powerstones?!?!?! The worst I've -ever- cut before is one in thirty-five average. Usually I cut more, but they're hard to find lately. :/

I'm going to find more gems and cry over my lack of powerstones. crying.gif
