You could half the insanity down from a very dangerous level, psychotic, for example, to merely have neurotic or highly neurotic for both(if it works as has been mentioned). This halfing would prove little damage to the Healer, and a huge weight of the highly insane person's head.

This was an event Marina organized, it was a pretty nice RP event in Lacostian's temple. I attended because I like Marina and wanted to participate. I noticed that they are really trying to RP this--no "ANNOUNCE" post was given, rather it was Marina spreading the word on the news (and myself talking to a few people).

You hard code something to put us at a disadvantage, and the only people you're even going to have up there are the players you're complaining about. Yes, they're insane, but there are still plenty of little characters who still struggle. Basically, if you are saying we're too good at something, you're effectively saying 'We want Daevos and Kaervas to sit out of things'. Well cool. As long as Malicia, Amaru, Munsia, Narsim, Diamante, Morik, Lyco... etc sit out of things too. *shrug*

No.. it's the tactics. Demense summon is the only real issue. our summon isnt instant. Thiers is.

Somewhat on topic though, I agree that demesnes have too large an effect on group combat still, despite the addition of protection scrolls. Especially the summoning abilities that are associated with demesnes, demesne summon and wisp.
On the actual offensive abilities of demesnes, maybe it would be best to weaken them the same way that other skills such as contagion have been weakened. Make them have lessened effect against multiple targets.
On the summoning abilities, make them both blocked by monoliths, and give demesne summon a delay.

So you're saying someone like myself would have a chance against someone like you, simply because I had demesne summon? I find that laughable, and ignorant. You're faster than I am, have greater skills, and do far more damage, and take less. *shrug*

Why are you guys still hating on this? It's horrible and requires two people compared to only needing the one person available to do this. It's slower as well. Wisp is fine I dont know why any of you have trouble with it.
