I make my own. This one I completed a few months ago. I did a new render of her face with better textures. The background and text was done with photoshop.

On a lesser note, Rashidat, your signature/avatar scares the hell out of me.

What are you using to make it? Poser?
Rashidat2006-01-07 18:44:56
Poser 5. I got the Vicky 3 figure a couple of years ago as gift and did the model from that. I morphed it of course, which is how I got the eyes so big.
Verithrax2006-01-07 18:48:35
Nice rendering, but her expression is kind of weird.
Shamarah2006-01-07 18:50:11
It's nice. I have Poser, but I've never really learned how to use it... I should take another look at it one of these days.
Rashidat2006-01-07 18:55:37
I am not real good with the program either. I haven't really done anything with her expression. I might have played with a smile, but that would it. It was only this last render, that I figured out how to make her eyebrows show up.

Skin tone scares the living crap out of me and it looks like a zombie
Malicia2006-01-07 19:37:18
It's good work. Her features are simply a bit hard and pronounced. Somewhat startling, but it's good.
Leonias2006-01-07 19:47:19
Looks about right. I like the rain. Only thing I'd say is to bring the hairline in some, she looks a bit like a male shaolin monk in that aspect, and I get the feeling that's not even remotely the look you're going for.
Richter2006-01-07 21:33:16
It scares the hell out of me, especially the eyes. Make them look softer and more human!
And no, I have no idea how to do that. I can only draw stick figures.

I said it once, I'll say it again. Your avatar scares the **** out of me.

The reason people get a bit creeped out from it is probably based on something Scott McCloud said in his Understanding Comics book.
Cartoons and Comics are popular because they tend to abstract via drawing faces, which we can easilly visualize in our minds eye. The more realistic the drawings look, the more distracting it can be--especially when looking closer to photographic realism.
Computer graphics suffer similarly, especially since computers don't have the artists ability to make corrections based on a human's ability to visualize. So, your avatar looks creepy because it's a little "too" realistic, but still flawed because the way the computer draws things a little "too perfect".
That's why, for instance, Polar Express or the Final Fantasy Movie is a little less enjoyable to watch (IMO) than Finding Nemo or The Incredibles. In this case, abstraction helps the mind compensate for the missing items. If you've ever enjoyed Peanuts and similar strips, Anime/Manga and Webcomics, you can see how this abstraction actually ads to the visual experience.

It's actually pretty good, but it is scary. The avatar is much more scary than the sig one though - it just looks slightly crazy.

While this is definitely very true, I think it's also because she just looks a little freaky on normal terms.
