I've heard some complaints about how people will have novices, either actual ones or alts, go into a place in order to do things that would normally get them attacked. I think that these quests should tell the novice that they would have to reject innocence, and that perfoming this quest could get you enemied and most likely killed. Another idea to prevent a novice from being a teleport target in to enemy territory could be that teleportation could be blocked if attempting to teleport to a novice if the novice was standing in one of the opposing communes/cities territory(i.e., if the novice is from celest, they couldn't be teleported into areas belonging to Magnagora or Glomdoring), which would include villages.

Wouldn't that require making teleporting an agressive act?

not necessarily, it will just need to check if the person, 1, has grace or innocence, and 2, if the person does and if is in territory belonging to an opposing org, stop it.

Simple. As soon as a novice is enemied to an area, the lose Innocence when they step into that area.
Also, don't allow teleporting to novices. Instead, allow summoning. You can't do as much damage to novices by summoning as by teleporting, and summoning is also alot more helpful to people trying to help the newbies.

ooh, that could work. But something tells me if the novice gets enemied and still have innocence, it shouldn't remove it, but prevent them from entering, saying something like 'You are enemy of this place and your innocence prevents you from entering'

that's not a bad idea, actually

I don't think it should be possible to strip innocence, ever. That would simply make things more abusable. What should happen is that the people who abuse novices in that way should be flogged and then demoted from any guild position. It's up to guild leaders and patrons to regulate that sort of abuse.

I think that is what Arix was saying was a good idea....

Sounds like what happens when non-novices go to the Newton Caverns...

Makes sense, doesn't it?
