Ok look it isn't a joke, don't kid yourselves. I think the real issue here is who is going to give Ekard and Narsrim free levels now?
243261
Narsrim never got Tf's

Why would you bother playing with Terentia's order powers anyway? Blah.

That's what I didn't get. It's not like she's around anymore either. Why bother? To screw with Amaru?

Yeah, I know. Of all the orders, right? Ugh.

This is a blow to Celest as well. Eep.

Heh, I'm sure it'll be ok and they get a new, better god. Eventually.

That's the crazy thing. Why risk a a paying gig for something like that? It is baffling, and sad.
Unknown2006-01-06 02:55:20
well, i never interacted with him in any IC way
but i will say that i liked him
but why would he secretly delete terentia's order powers?
wierd!

All I knew of it was that Amaru reported a mysterious loss of his order privs without reason.
Guess that led to an investigation.

Crazy beans.

Gods This is so hard to grasp. I feel so numb. Its hard to Imagine Lusty with Hajamin. He was integrated into a lot of the culture. There will be a big gaping hole.
Edit: oops I meant hole.

I guess this means all the new stuff that is planned will be set back by a few months.

Yup. Celest will now have to fend for itself. This'll be interesting.
Munsia2006-01-06 02:59:01

Well, I don't mean to diminish your very legitimate pain at all, but Lusternia will get over it and fill the hole with time. Believe me, I was pretty sad about Estarra leaving Achaea (where she was Eris), but it did. Turnover is, unfortunately, just the nature of the world. Nobody stays forever. Heck, after 8 years at the helm, Sarapis left Achaea and it's doing fine.

Oh, ugh, no... How many paid coders do we have anyway? Lusternia development is going to be slower, and I was going to PM Haj soon to see if he'd take a look at a new skillset for me.
Malicia2006-01-06 03:01:17
Just want to say that Achaea was a great mud and you're a genius, Sarapis.
Unknown2006-01-06 03:02:32
I could actually understand Hajamin wanting to limit Amaru because I do think he might be the type to use the inactive god shrines to conduct Worldburns or other powers without fear of being leashed.
However, obviously there are strict rules on what Gods can do to other Gods (even if inactive). So I understand the reaction, especially if he tried to keep this secret from Estarra and Roark. I'm sure it was the log deletion/lying that did it.
Too bad. He did some interesting things. If you're reading this, thanks for the hard work.
As for coding, maybe Sarapis can come visit Estarra and slum with her for a while... or not...

I understand completely. It was all very abrupt though It is a little bit different than someone starting to spend less and less time until they finally disappear.
Unknown2006-01-06 03:03:36
Estarra, Roark and Hajamin were the paid staff, I think, Richter.
Verithrax2006-01-06 03:05:46
This has to be the fastest-growing thread in the history of the Lust forums.
Anyway, development is going to be set back a few months, Celest is going to get one big gaping hole. I never met Hajamin ICly or OOCly, but I hear he was one of the most interesting Divine, and we'll miss him. I guess letting him come back as an RP only god without coding privs is out of the question? I suppose the admin will have to run an event (Can't just have a god disappear all of a sudden, can you?). I, for one, would like to see Estarra's shiny shoe hit His Pointy Little Head a little too hard.
EDIT: And thanks to that, figurines are going to be left only partially implemented.

We can with time find someone to play the role of Hajamin the god I think, just be patient and all will be fine soon enough. *soothes community*
