Doesn't Celest still have Lacostian and Isune?
Malicia2006-01-06 03:08:37
Lacostian allows tainted members into his order. A more reasonable divine patron would be Isune.
Acrune2006-01-06 03:09:30
But... but... eek!
Hope to see a new Celest god soon... Terentia is inactive, Lacostian isn't really that fitting of Celest, even though he is a member, Isune never shows. We need a god

Isune's away right now. Hopefully She'll be back soon though.

However, obviously there are strict rules on what Gods can do to other Gods (even if inactive). So I understand the reaction, especially if he tried to keep this secret from Estarra and Roark. I'm sure it was the log deletion/lying that did it.
243280
Well, this wasn't a God doing something to another God. This was a person abusing the fact that he has coding privileges on the Lusternia server.
You're right though: If he hadn't tried to cover up and lie about it, he would have just been docked rather than fired.

Gonna miss him, even if I did desert to the Taint on him

why would sarapis tell us and not estarra?
why would sarapis tell us and not estarra?
243253
Because Sarapis runs the company, not Estarra. Matt (Sarapis) is the one who ultimately decides who stays and who goes. He /is/ CEO after all. Estarra isn't the one writing pay checks.

Lacostian wouldn't work out. A nuetral patron would be scary for Celest. Just imagine the conflict *shudder*
I almost never see Isune, and when I do, she never really deals with Celest like she used to.

Lacostian patrons two out of three guilds. He'd work just fine as a New Celest patron and I'd be really interested in seeing how it develops. Internal conflict is always a good thing as long as people refrain from acting like jerks.
Adee2006-01-06 03:18:32
And this may be incredibly selfish but...what about the Minis? I guess it's not /such/ a big deal becuase I'm leaving for boocamp in 4 days. So I'd end up missing all the neat new stuff anyway. -shrug- It just miffs me a bit.

He only patrons them because there is no one fitting of the guilds. Lacostian generously took over Celestines' patron spot either when Terentia vanished, or Isune got stuck in the seal (forget which). There was a brief discussion over replacing him in the Aquas, but we couldn't think of anyone better, so that died pretty quick.

Hey, no Lacostian bashing! He's cool, he helped Raezon during Kethuru's event!

I wish I knew how. I have a VERY basic understanding. But I guess that they'd want someone with a bit more knowledge. But the Rapture engine /is/ completely custom...
Shorlen2006-01-06 03:38:27
So unfortunate... I didn't think Hajamin and Amaru's hatred of each other would go that far. It's just... so dumb and pointless.
We really do need more Divine, if only for the roleplaying aspect. There are just so few active ones... Raezon, Elcyrion, Shikari, and Viravain. Well, and Lacostian, but He's not really a part of the world. Isune needs to come back 'cause she's awesome, and 'cause Celest needs her

Subj: My Departure
People of the Basin,
My dearest sister Terentia secretly left through the Transcendental
Fulcrux some time ago on a mission to help some Elder Gods whom we
thought were trapped within the Void. It has been many years now since
she ventured forth, and I grow concerned. Thus, I must now follow the
trail she left and find out what has transpired.
Stay strong and believe!

The following people should be suddenly and inexplicably elevated to elder god status: Daevos. Rafael. Nejii. Kalodan.
